- This is a little rig rundown of the small Intellijel Pallet case I have featured in a number of my recent videos. I discuss the layout of the synthesizer, why I picked each module, and how I use it. Hope this helps someone!

I am getting atrocious noise with my new lubadh in the palette case…any tips? Might return it if this keeps up, it’s absolutely unusable
Lubadh is in fact not pronounced "Lubidah", but "Looper"

What do you like to use for effects? (Software, hardware)
Hey Brian! I'm actually a guitar player as my primary instrument, so I have a zillion effects. FOr synths, my outboard favorite in order are 1) Specular Tempus Reverb 2) Strymon El Capistan / Volante 3) All Vibes
Software I don't use a lot of plugins, but I like Valhalla.
In the rack, I have a ton... in fact once I get my big system finished I'll make a video about it.
@@jupiterrising5918 Awesome much thx for replying. I tried some rack effects, wasn’t too impressed as compared to sound quality I find in ios apps/computer vst. However the ease of accessibility and patching is a huge draw. Still feeling my way around.

p.s. the Arbar is in a demo mode of some kind? The layer selection is going in circles without modulation 🤔
They are really cool... Trimmer Toppers by Thonk. I'm not sure on the Arbor I hadn't actually noticed lol www.thonk.co.uk/shop/tall-trimmer-toppers/
@@jupiterrising5918 I know these, but they go on the tall '2hp' like trimmers pots. I thought these ones used for Arbhar where smaller. Thonk warns these tall ones might not fit (unless cut).
@@studio48nl Nope. The pot is the same diameter just shorter. They fit just fine. You're looking at them there.
@@jupiterrising5918 yes same diameter, but I thought shorter (not smaller), but you are correct, they are almost as tall. They fit nicely! 👍🏼
Pedal as switch trigger - nice find/use
Ahhh so I was right. No sound sources at all just an efx box. Which doesn’t really fit the bill of eurorack as much as efx pedal. Good though
Not really. In fact, there aren’t any effects (reverb, delay, chorus, etc) in it at all. It’s more like a mangling sampler. The beauty of eurorack is that you could easily replace a couple modules with sound sources and even a sequencer and make this a full self contained system.
