Nice video! Have you tried this OS on older hardware to check performance? Just curious, but does the desktop background look kind of pixelated and low quality (due to 4k display maybe?) or is that just the youtube compression that is making it look like that?

It will not install on my Laptop Lenovo IdeaPad B575 AMD E E-350 . Last march after seing this video, I created my bootable (v17.1). Once it boot from usb, after a few minute it load the FideOS logo and my usb flash a few time every 2-3 minutes but it never finalize installing. So I gave up !! Today I visited the FydOS site and uploaded the latest release 18.0 stable and gave it a try. Still same issue, so again I returned to my chromeos-flex with no google play store.....
soo.. you know of any way to watch 4k hdr amazon from non-arm device? wanted to setup some portable mini pc for steam remote play / streaming, but its impossible to get prime on windows/linux/android x86 work reliably (most other streaming stuff works 1 way or another). looks like android tv box (nokia 8010 and alike) are the only way...
when im trying using fydeOs on Usb only my wifi nd Bluetooth not working so im worried to install it to my laptop.. is there a way to fix this issue thanks
@@RobertoJorgeTech i tried and it didn't work for me. i'll try to see what i can do about it. it also seems like i can't install android apps from other sources, but i can update the existing ones from an option available in the play store.
@@mkrleza extract the .xz to .img and just copy the img on the ventoy drive. The difference that I've seen from having it done on a stick, was that on ventoy it runs directly FydeOS without the option to install it and also I've seen that the data is kept between restarts.
@@mkrleza just playing with the system, you might be able to install the system from Ventoy as well because one of the apps in the store created by FydeOS looks to be something called "Installer" which lets you install the system on a local drive. I haven't tried it, but by the name should do the job of installing locally if you want that.

I installed Fyde OS on my 2015 MacBook air but I couldn't get Wifi to work,
Wondering if you have any solutions to get wifi to work.

About to do same with MacBook pro....from my experience with linux installation, I'd say it's the b43 firmware....get it online with the b43-cutter

still no chrome , and still no sound for my ASUS R107HAF. But Bliss OS New Version Have Sound for my ASUS R107HAF Now.

My laptop has a nvidia mx150 and works fine. Not sure of more powerful gpus. Can you share yours and let us know if you could not install. Thanks

FydeOS - not so awsome if You need to use online account every time You boot! I don't want to type in ANY Passwords, just start the OS!
