To say I'm in awe Louise would be an understatement. You're such a perfectionist and your workmanship would put many to shame. If you were my daughter I'd be so very proud....and that's coming from a 70 year old geezer! 😂👍
Totally in awe of Louise's skill and the energy you both have!. Bloody hard work. Loved seeing how it's all done and comes together. Living life to the fullest.
Can only replicate what others are saying. Best Channel out there by a country mile. Stopped in the middle of a film to watch you when the notification popped up. Fingers crossed for Christmas. You are obviously on the nice list!
Louise / Emily, your building skills and attention to detail is stunning. I really admire how you are designing, project managing, and ordering materials, while pushing ahead with construction. And then, to cap it all, you are videoing, editing and uploading content. Respect.
Like others, I'm in absolute awe of Lou's forward planning for every detail of this build. She could earn a living teaching apprentices and instilling pride in quality building work. ❤
How lovely are Sam and Becks?, I wasn't surprised to see them helping you, they are my other favourite TH-cam couple........You guys impress me more and more with every vlog you produce and I love to see you both laughing together as you work, thats the mark of a TRUE couple who are clearly in love.
Can honestly say your channel is the first thing I've began to watch religiously in over 20 years. Was usually too busy galavanting. You are a life line for me. You are real and earthy. Sending love and the best for Yule/Winter Solstice from a Welsh Hedgewith. BTW that cottage and land waited and chose you to care for it and it's occupants. The lights in the sky were a celebration for you ❤
Astounding! The skills that Louise demonstrates throughout this video are awesome. Her precision, woodworking talent, work rate and determination stagger me. Why isn't she leading the governments plan to build 1.5 million new homes? A privilege to watch the pair of you at work.
I love the pair of you, watching your channel brings a smile to my face. ❤😂 It is very nice of you to say thank you to staff and shops I am sure it is appreciated. ❤
I just love both of you ladies. No fluffing around just get in and get the building done. Louise you are unbelievable and everything is spot on. Your little home will serve its purpose and will be cosy and warm for winter and then a lovely workshop. Keep up the good work and I wait for your videos. Love from a old Nanna in Australia. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
We forget there's a bonus midweek video and then boom here you are! Does anyone else get super anxious about ankles as the team walk across the joists?! Stay safe, girls! N&Nx
I love how you're all helping each other out. You with Sam and Becca's concrete pour and them with your door. Louise, I love how you are an RTFM person. They put instructions with these things for a reason. Check and double check. My kind of girl.
Totally agree, always RTFM and study any data sheets or tech specs when using anything for the first time. Louise ensuring a better build with attention to detail, like considering temperature and performance characteristics. Wish I was her apprentice!
You make everything look so simple. How on earth you find time to do the 2 videos a week and all the amazing editing as well is unbelievable. Big credit to you both. The cabin is looking so good.
I just love this channel and am gobsmacked at Louise’s talent in all things, and Emily’s humour, support and hard work too. We have a saying here in Australia, Run like a girl, drive like a girl etc…I’d say Build like a girl!
Ladies please take a wee break this Christmas you both look absolutely shattered especially you Emily. You have been through so much these last few months please rest ❤ I do hope you all have a very Merry Christmas in your new home I wish you both so much happiness and peace for 2025. God bless you both always 🙏🎄🧑🎄🧑🎄🦮🐈⬛🕊️
@@campervibe Good I’m so glad to hear that Emily I’m worried about you more as you are looking incredibly anemic. I suffer with thrombocytopenia which causes me severe anemia so i can usually see it in people before they do. If you have any vitamin D take it and maybe go and get some blood works done. It’s completely treatable but please please take some time for you Lou and your babies. Sending so much love from Manchester ♥️
Don’t worry about the filming, Louise, we are so happy with the work you are doing. I am in awe of your skill and dedication to details. That’s going to be a marvellous asset to your property. I think Emily’s going to want to keep it for her office after the cottage is done. It’s such a cute cabin. 😊😊
Hooray Sam and Becca! They are good people. Silly me, I just assumed you put the Tyvec upside down due to serendipity. I like serendipity...it explains most of my decisions in life. Between serendipity and Murphy's Law, I make far fewer excuses or apologies for the directions of my life.
Evening Folks… first off I need to add my total agreement and support to everyone who has commented on Louise’s construction skills and abilities. She’s top notch, even more so that she has to deal with Emms at the same time 😳😳 (joke) but seriously you both, awesome work. As you progress we can feel and sense the lovely, warm, cosy home you are creating. Absolutely wonderful to see Sam and Becs turn up, giving their help and support. That’s just so typical of you all. Always willing to give help and support. It’s those small, yet very powerful interactions that remind us all…it is all about helping each other that matters most. Onwards and upwards girls… You’re not that far away from being warm n cosy this Christmas.. Kind regards… Dave
As all the other commenters have said wow, totally in awe! If you don't manage to put another video out before the big day, totally acceptable in my book (although I will miss you). I wish you all a very merry , warm, dry Christmas and look forward to following you in the new year xox
Loving the extra videos girls, I can’t believe you’re keeping the momentum up on the build despite the light and weather challenges. Keep going you’re nearly there and it’s looking fab! Sod the editing just chuck out the footage we’re all behind you and would still watch regardless 😊
I don't know how Louise knows all she does... I'm impressed with you both. Thanks for letting me come along for the build/ride!! Merry Christmas you two!
Ye are unreal! I can't believe what ye have accomplished so far. A bright light with all that going on in the world. It's people like ye that give me faith we will make it through. So inspiring 😊
Just WOW!! You two blow my mind. I ain't been so invested - first in a YT channel, and second in a wee shed since I botched me own a couple of years ago! Can't wait until Sunday! I get far too excited for your vlogs! Love and Season's blessings to you both and AJ and Summer. xXx
Louise, your attention to detail and careful meticulous work is a joy to watch. Your little cottage is going to be fab. And then your bigger little cottage will be fabber! 😘
Woohoo! That was epic! Well done, both. I fully understand Louise’s hatred of the big, unsupported tarp. It only takes one gust, or an hour of proper rain, to turn that into a serious problem. You’re definitely in my bedtime prayers, tonight. Though, to be fair, today was pretty calm and not too wet, either, with more of the same promised, so I think you’ll be okay. 9x2 is fun, to get up to wall plate height, but we figured out how to do it. Counter intuitively, what worked for us was for the little person to stay on the ground and pass one end up to the six footer, who could then do the needful. She used a broom to push the other end up, when I was ready to receive it. We were working inside a pitched roof, which we didn’t want to damage, at the time, so we had problems you don’t have with your build. You can pass them up from outside and trundle them over to the other side, which wasn’t an option for us. You can cut them square, too, rather than having to tailor make each one to suit whatever rafter timber you have to secure to. Bliss! Saying that, though, you’ve set yourself quite a deadline. I’m confident you’ll do it though. It’s a joy to watch you working with your favourite materials, just casually doing things most of us have to spend time figuring out, or more likely, failing to figure out and having to compensate for, later. My stud walls never have the extra stud, for example. I add braces afterwards, to attach the edges of the plasterboard to, in the corners. Now I know a better way and it will probably have knock on benefits, too, with subsequent studs being in the right places without me having to cut a sheet of plasterboard to make it line up. Thank you Louise. Can’t wait for Sunday’s episode, to see how today went… BTW, it was nice to see Sam and Becky do a little cameo appearance. Thanks for bringing us along for the ride…
Looking excellent! So nice to hear positive comments about the 2 companies. So many people ready to complain but not compliment. Well done on everything.
I do not know how you do it Lou, you are amazing. You are the dream team with Emily and your work ethic the pair of you is epic. You are grafters and some. You could give some builders a run for their money that’s for sure. The content of your channel is so diverse but whatever you two do and film is so entertaining and brilliant to watch. I don’t know how you film so much and keep on top of the huge project you have given yourselves. I do hope you get to knock off completely and have some well earned rest days over Christmas and New Year. I am so excited to see the end result and I won’t be living there so cannot imagine how you two must feel. Keep up the good work and thank you for bringing us along for the ride 🎉🎉❤
You Ladies are Amazing, I admire you both. Not phased by anything, unstoppable, determined beyond belief. Hat off, or as they say in France: Chapeau-Bas to you both!!
Am I the only one who loves to hear Emily say ‘ Louise ! …’. ? Emily says it in the sweetest sing song and manages to get ‘Louise ‘ to stretch to 4 syllables instead of 2 ❤😊
You two amazes me,and funny, laughter changes your moods and the moods of others around you. If you look around today, you will not find many young adults willing to build their own houses these days. You two very good role models.
You two are absolute machines !!!! I don’t know how you keep up the momentum but all I can say, is your work ethic is insane !!!! Be very very proud of yourselves ❤❤❤
Hi Emmely and Louise enjoyed the video, amazing work done. I as a small builder am so impressed by your carpentry skills which come so naturally, kind regards Sean
Looks amazing. Yes, the next storm is coming. You could make peg board walls in the storage area, so first you can hang cabinets from it or racks or shelves and later it would be an amazing wall for tools. So flexible. I saw a van made by this and love it.
It shows what great work you two have done for your cabin to survive the recent weather , you are both doing a grand job keep up the excellent work and your be in well before Christmas. Thank you for the fantastic videos they brighten up my day.
I am just speechless and amazed at what you two lovely people are doing. I don’t think I have ever seen two more dedicated and hard working women! Your skills knowledge of all things ‘building’ is encyclopedic Louise and your execution is astounding. Love the way Emily supports and helps you, you really are a great team. Good luck with the completion and Merry Christmas x I’m completely hooked on your channel!
We've been watching the channel for a couple of years. This is the 1st time we've ever commented. We are totally blown away with both your skill level and enthusiasm. You are both amazing ❤❤
We (my husband and I) enjoy your videos so much and we say it every single video: respect!! For the both of you, for the way you keep going, for the great builder that Louise is and the best assistent builder and support team that Emily is! What a team. And editing the videos the way you edit. Which will take up a lot of your time as well. My goodness, you both are so, sò good! RESPECT.
Brilliant progress. I keep saying (jesting) to my husband that I need myself a Louise. You pair are just fab. Loving seeing the progress you's are making on the house and cabin.
Was great to see Sam and Rebeca are friends of yours. It’s funny when you see other TH-cam channels and you don’t realize that the 2 of you could be near each other.
I first met Tyvek as a waterproof storage thing for art in a museum (the National Portrait Gallery). I thought it was so cool when I first saw a house wrapped in it!
Enjoyed it so much! Can't believe you're still walking, talking and breathing! The whole process, vibe, setting, location, you girls, AJ and Summer and the birds and wildlife, it is precious.
Wow, you two work great as a team. That little cabin will be so cosy for you four. I am really enjoying your channel; I just wish your vlogs were a little longer!
Oh girls, I cannot express just how excited I am for you and how much joy you bring to me. It's absolutely beautiful to watch your synergy and energy. I'm so proud...as if I were your mom, (which I'm old enough to be). Thank you for sharing your journey ❤.
You two are so amazing. Absolutely love watching you both, your work ethic is incredible. Everything crossed you get in your little home for Christmas so you can both have a well deserved rest. Have a wonderful Christmas x
Re: TYVEK being upside down… The print on the Tyvek is mainly for advertising purposes. So if you're a lefty, keep installing it upside down and don't let anyone else tell you otherwise. Ladies…. I have to say… Your ‘original’ series lol - of Vanlife & Travelling was brilliant… As for this “NEW” Theme… ‘Ladies that Build’ (& build beautifully!) shows a whole new side to just how bloody amazing and fabulous you both are… & what a truly fantastic TEAM you both make (Team Inc. ‘AJ & Summer’ obviously 😘) Louise… You are a Whizz on those tools and would put me for one to shame.. Your attention to detail is second to none! Loving every new episode and look for to summer when you can all (the 4 of you) move back to a more relaxing pace & get out & about a bit. But for now… These episodes are just as incredibly filmed and edited and they are better than MANY MANY programs out there on TV… SERIOUSLY BOTH OF YOU - These episode and all your previous episodes deserve a place on TV! Take good care of each other & I for one wish you all 👩🏻🤝👩🏽🐶🐱 a truly wonderful Christmas and a fantabulous New Year… here’s to 2025! (& beyond!)
I think it's safe to say you're not afraid of hard work. You've done a great job and have every reason to be proud of what you have achieved. I take my hat off to you both. Merry Christmas and happy New year ladies.
You have mastered how to be great TH-camrs I’ve been watching for quite sometime now possibly a couple of years or more and you both just got amazing with your editing . Great entertainment , keep up the amazing work with your new home . Happy Christmas girls x
Well done so far. And great to see Sam and Becky popping in to help. It’s great that ye can help each other out when needed. Best of luck in getting weather tight for Christmas so ye can take some time off. And excited to see the cottage progressing in 25
My wife and I are very impressed. I would be so proud of myself if I could do anything like that. You make everything look so easy on camera as well, I know that’s probably not the case but well done both 😊
I've said it many times before and I stand by what I said that the two of you especially Louise are doing a phenomenal job! You said that you are not a professional! Well youngster, you put a lot of professional builders to shame! Great job!! Keep it up!
You've done so well girls, and great to see Sam and Becs helping you out. I watch their channel too, and love it. Love having you to watch on Wednesdays too, I bet its so much more work to do Louise, you deserve a well earned rest over Christmas, see you Sunday xxx
You got skills / and your work is commendable and how you are adding your creativity to that old farm house is exciting . You both have that man’s touch with the added bonus of a woman’s touch is priceless - BRAVO to you both 👍
I am in awe how much you have accomplished..when you first told us about this idea ..I thought maybe it was one of the Lego type of builds where there is no cutting, nothing goes together in weekend ...but you have built a structure, a home, in weeks....by yourselves. With balancing your materials while standing on a beam..the females watching you are very proud of you both...I'm crossing my fingers you are in by christmas..hugs from 🇨🇦
Best channel on t'interweb. I feel like I've built that house myself without having to leave my couch
🤣🥳❤️
What if you lived next door and there to help 😮😂
😂 Me also.
I've been there too! Lou, if you find my staple gun keep it for me? Don't tell Emily but I may have sneaked a treat from her stash!😊
I know right!… I’m exhausted! 😂
To say I'm in awe Louise would be an understatement. You're such a perfectionist and your workmanship would put many to shame. If you were my daughter I'd be so very proud....and that's coming from a 70 year old geezer! 😂👍
Same here ❤
She’s superwoman🥰
Same here
They make a great team..
Each having their own indispensable talents
She is amazing
Totally in awe of Louise's skill and the energy you both have!. Bloody hard work. Loved seeing how it's all done and comes together. Living life to the fullest.

Nice to see Sam and Becka helping you!!!
There’s a lot to appreciate in a man’s muscles.
Thanks a bunch for helping out ❤🙏🏽❤️
Louise / Emily, your building skills and attention to detail is stunning. I really admire how you are designing, project managing, and ordering materials, while pushing ahead with construction. And then, to cap it all, you are videoing, editing and uploading content. Respect.
I dont know how they do it all - and now we are treated to 2 vids per week - like my Xmas came early 😊
Like others, I'm in absolute awe of Lou's forward planning for every detail of this build. She could earn a living teaching apprentices and instilling pride in quality building work. ❤
Yippee might even be another video Christmas Eve??!!. Love you both as usual. Amazing content. Can’t wait for Sunday 😊❤x
How lovely are Sam and Becks?, I wasn't surprised to see them helping you, they are my other favourite TH-cam couple........You guys impress me more and more with every vlog you produce and I love to see you both laughing together as you work, thats the mark of a TRUE couple who are clearly in love.
They are a lovely couple 🙂
Can honestly say your channel is the first thing I've began to watch religiously in over 20 years. Was usually too busy galavanting. You are a life line for me. You are real and earthy. Sending love and the best for Yule/Winter Solstice from a Welsh Hedgewith. BTW that cottage and land waited and chose you to care for it and it's occupants. The lights in the sky were a celebration for you ❤
Agreed
I agree love there channel
Man I love you two. Practical, doing stuff I want to do and having a laugh at the same time
Why thank you 🙂
Well Louise did push a wheelbarrow alll day when Sam & Beck poured their cement floors. That was admirable Lou.
Astounding! The skills that Louise demonstrates throughout this video are awesome. Her precision, woodworking talent, work rate and determination stagger me. Why isn't she leading the governments plan to build 1.5 million new homes? A privilege to watch the pair of you at work.
Very impressed by Louise her knowledge of building and practical application of maths !
I love the pair of you, watching your channel brings a smile to my face. ❤😂
It is very nice of you to say thank you to staff and shops I am sure it is appreciated.
❤
😊 They make me smile too, usually all the way through 😊
I pat myself on the back when I get a king size duvet cover on!!..Well-done you it's incredible what you do. Happy Christmas x

I totally am on Tenderhooks when I see them walking along the floor joists

😂. RTFM 😅- took me a few minutes to figure that out - Read the f******ng Manuel !😊
Totally agree, always RTFM and study any data sheets or tech specs when using anything for the first time. Louise ensuring a better build with attention to detail, like considering temperature and performance characteristics. Wish I was her apprentice!
Love how happy you are working with each other! Infectious fun and energy. Great you’re friends with Sam and Bec. Great grafters all. Thanks.

RESPECT.
Absolutely awesome work! Glad to see an appearance of The Irish Homestead to lend a hand with the heavy stuff. Louise you really know your stuff 😊
Just wanna say you're both amazing! Absolutely fantastic! You are both doing great!
Thank you very much for letting us all tag along.
Amazing amazing. We can't believe how fast and sturdy your tiny house is already can't wait to see it finished for you all x
Amazing progress. Louise is a building maniac!
I'm sending positive and endurance building vibes to you two hard working women!
Oh girls, I cannot express just how excited I am for you and how much joy you bring to me. It's absolutely beautiful to watch your synergy and energy. I'm so proud...as if I were your mom, (which I'm old enough to be). Thank you for sharing your journey ❤.
Great video as always !! Love that wood for the lintel, Gives it a nice rustic flair. Nice job ladies. Can't wait to see you finish it off!
Sam and Becki so nice to see them. Wow you made such progress!! Happy Holidays from ATlanta Ga.
To you too
You two are so amazing. Absolutely love watching you both, your work ethic is incredible. Everything crossed you get in your little home for Christmas so you can both have a well deserved rest. Have a wonderful Christmas x
Re: TYVEK being upside down…
The print on the Tyvek is mainly for advertising purposes. So if you're a lefty, keep installing it upside down and don't let anyone else tell you otherwise.
Ladies…. I have to say… Your ‘original’ series lol - of Vanlife & Travelling was brilliant…
As for this “NEW” Theme… ‘Ladies that Build’ (& build beautifully!) shows a whole new side to just how bloody amazing and fabulous you both are… & what a truly fantastic TEAM you both make (Team Inc. ‘AJ & Summer’ obviously 😘)
Louise… You are a Whizz on those tools and would put me for one to shame..
(& beyond!)
Great progress girls. So excited for all you've ahead of you.
Great job!! Keep it up!
Fantastic work👍 Great to see Sam and Becky giving you a hand. My 2 favourite TH-cam channels😀
wow... you are such troopers. the craftsman ship and teamwork are awe inspiring. bless you both and your gorgeous family and sweet house to be.
The only channel I genuinely look forward to watching.

Amazing work ethic, you'll do it and then you can relax over Christmas. Fingers crossed the weather behaves for you.
You've done so well girls, and great to see Sam and Becs helping you out. I watch their channel too, and love it. Love having you to watch on Wednesdays too, I bet its so much more work to do Louise, you deserve a well earned rest over Christmas, see you Sunday xxx
Louise you’re amazing at your craft!
You got skills / and your work is commendable and how you are adding your creativity to that old farm house is exciting . You both have that man’s touch with the added bonus of a woman’s touch is priceless - BRAVO to you both 👍
Your doing so well ,you are nearly there. You will be in your new tiny home ready for Christmas 🎄 and a well deserved break .😊
I am in awe how much you have accomplished..when you first told us about this idea ..I thought maybe it was one of the Lego type of builds where there is no cutting, nothing goes together in weekend ...but you have built a structure, a home, in weeks....by yourselves. With balancing your materials while standing on a beam..the females watching you are very proud of you both...I'm crossing my fingers you are in by christmas..hugs from 🇨🇦
I love Sam and Becca's channel! They are awesome! And so are you!
