@@rinkitorirataki7488 quite literally the best thing to do with an AI sheva is to give her a stun rod and nothing else. Doesn’t waste your ammo, serves as a good meat shield, and only sometimes hits you with it

BEAST!!! The memorization of routes and nuances is strong with this one.
It was done segmented. I basically recorded all of the segments (About 100) and edited them together

I used to think I was good when I was very used to managing it during ladders in Mercenaries. This guy is like 10x faster. Absolute monster.

I basically farm for rocket launcher until I get like about 30 of them and bring 2 every time with me and after just first playthrough I got infinite rocket launcher. Your total clear time just have to be under 5 hours to get the infinite rocket launcher so yeah
@@edgardoreyes8948 With levels like 5-1 (licker hallway and U-8) and 6-2 (literally just Aheri) taking 5 minutes tops and basically having two autoscroller levels in 2-3 (rail shooter + Ndesu) and 3-3 (boat ride and Irving) taking about 10 minutes each, it really isn't that difficult to get while playing normally. That's about 4 1/2 hours left for the other 12 levels, that's 22 minutes on average per mission.

@@NeroWalker for real this game sucks... is death/restart manipulation literally necessary to play this game? If so, just think about that.... dumb.... completely breaks sensible immersion too. Like op- let me just hit up the gods to swap weapons quick. At least 4 has a mysterious dude you bought stuff off of and a case to hold (admittedly ridiculous sizes of) weapons. It feels like they just copied resident evil 5 and pasted it over 4... I'm honestly asking for advice on how to enjoy this game.
It's not even 'challenging' irritating- it's just senseless crap like the literally million things Sheva does to get in the way. The puzzles make no sense even... they feel like they had like 1 minute of thought put into them each.
The cave was cool, that flashlight is the only thing Sheva has (mostly) doen right. Otherwise it has just been agonizing malarkey.

Pretty impressive run, especially that 2nd Uroboros fight, lol. Didn't know that was possible so quickly.
I've played this game with my buddy for many many hours. We did pretty much 100% it, every difficulty, unlocked all achievements, infinite ammo for all weapons etc.
but this run was something else. Well done!

Just went through the entire game in co-op with a friend on NORMAL this weekend, we took a loooooong time to kill the bosses, and then I watch this video completely destroying them in mere seconds on professional.
Amazing.
The AI manipulation at the Giant Fireballs was really cool to see, heck there's dozens of tiny optimsations that kinda blew my mind.
Even though this game received a lot of criticism, the first Resident Evil I played was the 4 that had stopped a little bit with the terror, so I saw Resident Evil 5 and just fell in love even more and I didn't know why this game received so much criticism
Because Re 4 fanboys dont want an RE game better than Re 4. Makes sense?

Finally a propper RE5 speedrun. I get it is hard to categorize such an open game when it comes to chapters and load out. I think this is the best approach: start to finish just with what you get in-game. Great job, might give it a try myself.

I disagree. PRO is the hardest difficulty by a longshot. It makes it a lot easier doing it segmented though!

Btw how did you killed uroboros wesker so quickly without a direct hit in his core, as far as I know if you shot him directly with an RPG but you don't hit his core he will almost not take any damage, and that wasn't even a direct hit, I was so surprised 😯.

I was looking for the second Uroboros fight, couldn't find it. Then I remembered it was 5-2. Had zero idea you could kill it that easily, LOL. An 8 second "fight". Welp, I now know how to cheese that fight. It's the fucking worst fight otherwise.
@99% ways to die I just tried it. I cannot get it to work either and I have no idea why. When you flash the floor it detonates the fuel tank and the mines, I've done it a few times and it doesn't die. I'm guessing it has to do with the attack it does when you shoot the floor, but again, I'm not certain on it. That's the only thing I can think of. Maybe the attack it does here makes it more vulnerable so it takes even more damage? I dunno, I'm all out of ideas. I'm just gonna use the RPG on it for now.
It's not easy finding speedrunning information on this game considering how old it is, I haven't been able to find any answers as to how this works yet. This is the only speedrun I've seen where this tactic was used, so unless Trance actually comes here with an answer, we're out of luck.
