I completely understand. It’s such a huge place and even though I’ve been there soooo many times its still overwhelming which is why I rarely visit the showrooms. What I do now is go online and see where the item I want to either look at or purchase sits and then go straight there.
Love the IKEA videos. Kindly note though the hook is called Kämpig, not Kampig. A(a) and Ä(ä) are different letters in the Swedish alphabet (Å (å) and Ö(ö) are the two others that differ from the English alphabet).
I went to IKEA last weekend. It was mobbed and I felt like I was trapped in the store and I couldn't figure out how to get out. I ended up getting really frustrated and decided I would never shop there again...only online and I will pay for delivery if I have to.
Wowww, how did I miss this? That experience would probably stop me from going there. Their online interface isn't too bad honestly it's probably better to shop this way.
Always go on a weekday - NEVER a weekend! You can purchase online and use Click & Collect to pickup without going inside, but you only have a 24 hour window.
I agree! I think they make it feel like a maze on purpose to keep you there for hours because we are more likely to buy something if we are there for a long time (even if you don't need it lol). Planning is key when going to Ikea.
Since you asked for the proper pronunciation of Almonds in another video I feel you may appreciate my two cents on how to pronounce Accessory. Ax,ess,ory YES😉 Assess,ory NO😏 As an Organizer the word Accessory os used quite frequently on filmed content, in meetings, presentations & consultations with Clients. Every time you pronounce it as Assess,ory I cringe from flashbacks of my Speech Professor scribbling how many points he would deduct from grades every time I or other students mispronounced a word. When communicating professionally, I would love for you to feel confident & I want those who contract you to feel confident in you to. No disrespect, it could be compared to the question of how to pronounce Potatoes & Tomatoes, but trust it's best to clarify these while you're young.
