Really good series and I really liked it I hope that in the future u do more kinds of these videos. And do u think that u guys could do a video over the process of how u guys make the fireworks for elite fireworks. And this is just a suggestion but I think that it would make a really cool video.
I have enjoyed the series, I have been seriously been thinking about starting a fireworks business. I know Elite is a family owned business, but have you thought about franchising? Or do you wholesale to other companies? I'm just thinking out loud.
The issue with stands is scalability so we’ve thought about franchising but it’s just something that it’s not as worth it compare to other things we can focus on. We plan to focus more on wholesale and online and think that in 3-4 years that our stand and store sales will be less than 2% of total sales.
Fireworks are a tough business if you do not import yourself. Buying from a wholesaler means most of your profit will be gone to them, especially if you want to have competitive pricing. Containers are not practical for small stands as they contain 700-1000 cases and there is usually a 20 case per item minimum…so you can’t get a good variety unless you order multiple.
Would you consider doing a franchise type of deal. Mabie, do a virtual conference and discuss helping somebody get started. I have a location and have the capital.
I own a firework store, and based on the amount of product you have in your store, makes over $100,000 alone. In my own opinion if you have a $20-$25,000 season it’s a crappy season. I
Yes, now that we are not growing with stands the few that we have do very well and if they sold $20-25k it would be not great at all because we stock them up a lot. As for our stand because we focus a lot online we got lots of sales early on so it helps. The last 3 seasons we have been over $100k in sale before the end of the first day of each season. June 24th/ December 20th is like a mini holiday for us because a lot of our community comes and shops early.
Could you give me information on Wholesale distributor or distributors that you recommend? What is the mark up ratio?,,, and approximately what amount of cash do you need to spend to get what I would call starter, mid and GREAT PRICES. I am serious and would love ANY INFORMATION YOU MAY SUPPLY. I think it's AWESOME that you are kind enough to help people in this industry.., it says alot about you. Probably why you are so blessed. Look forward to getting a response!!!!
You can only pickup during their state and county sale period which is during late Dec and Late June to July 3rd. So essentially they're only open for 2 sessions during a year.
@@djboogie504no You can still purchase from them as a vendor I believe, but I'm not sure what kind of deal you would get. I'm assuming it would be a bit better than wholesale prices since you would most likely be making a huge order. But it would be a lot better for you to get in contact directly with the a fireworks manufacturer or major fireworks distributor (assuming you already have all the proper licenses to carry and sell product, and a place that can accept them). There are some located in the US and majority from China. For instance Happy Family Fireworks has a strong social media presence, so it would be easy to get in contact with them.
Hi Alvin, you can call use at 346-706-0006 or email at hello@elitefireworks.com. We have started wholesale nationally for retailers who are interested to work with us and try our products. Right now we have 320 different items we are offering to our wholesale customers from brands such as Brothers, Black Cat, Raccoon and all of our 9 own brands.
You need to be clear, as do So many anyone titling a video, what you mean by the title. When you say "how can Make", it is not in the persons mind clicking or interested that you mean Gross. That's really irrelevant. People want to know what is the "take home" i.e the Net the Profit. So if you don't say along with the $20 $30 $40k that the reasonable cost of the fireworks themselves are such, then it is just misleading and Hype talk. Obviously yes you reference the other costs of 1st year cost to get retail space, but you can say that too amongst all the chattering you're doing. Have you fathomed a Copyrighter for your business? Most don't, and pay dearly for the missing piece in business. Many businesses and their owners first don't know quite what to say or not, then it's second level understanding on How To say those things. Everything a business puts out to the community in writing or audibly, should not be just "winging it" per say. But largest majority of businesses do, and it shows.
Glad I found this series. I'm planning to open a stand in the next year hopefully. It's always good to have as much info as possible.
You should do a video about how and where to find the best prices products and suppliers
How much inventory would you recommend starting up with a 20'-25' Stand?

1:50 Do you mean you sell 20k dollars worth of product prior to marking the product up? Or are you saying 20K in total revenue?
