Have to say husband is the best camping item. Multiple uses, whether putting roof up because I am vertically challenged, taking dog out to pee on freezing night and to fire starting and cooking. Well worth the investment.
Thanks for the information 👍. I have been through 3 chairs, and I've now chosen to use a hiking chair and table to downsize how much a lug around. It's lightweight, and I find it extremely comfortable for a short person.
That is great glad in the end you have found a setup that is comfortable for you. It is so hard to do. Thank you so much for watching and support what we do. 👍
After 40 yrs of camping and caravanning we agree with everything you showed. The thermoelectric and jetboiler are game changers. Always used cast iron also.
Brilliant mate thank you. Aren’t they just, they make everything that bit more comfortable. 👍 You have to love a good cast iron pot, so many different things you can do with it.
👍🏻👏🏻 THANK YOU, Cast Iron is an awesome multi use, Camping and home bas, mine are over 30 years old and still going strong. I use an inferred cooktop in place of Induction, or gas cook tops, as it works great with Cast Iron 🙏🏻🙋🏻♀️🇦🇺
Thank you for watching and your support. Cast iron is brilliant isn’t and obviously last which is hard to find these days. Oh that’s interesting I will have to have a look at inferred cooktops, thank you so much for sharing. 👍❤️
Black wolf folding Directors chair with attached side table, it folds up almost half the size of the other Director chairs ,along with the oztent stool (same as yours) I have not needed another chair in 8 years. People sometimes overlook how important a strong comfortable camp chair is but when camping you are in the chair more than you are not!.
Yeah we do like the director chairs we did reach out to Oztent to find out where to buy their director chair but no reply so unfortunately we are trying another brand. Yeah a comfortable chair can make a great difference can’t it. Thanks again for sharing mate. 👍
Yeah they are brilliant aren’t they, we have had those types of cups for 5 odd years and I still get surprised when I have left my coffee and it’s hot when I return. 👍
Hey it was an air fryer silicon liner unfortunately it touched the sides of the camp oven and melted and we haven’t found another to fit our one as yet. It was perfect though. 👍
Try the Helinox chairs - had mine for a decade now, robust and light, come in sizes that suit those of us that are bigger frames, and if any bits of them break they send spares out. My first one broke about six months ago when I fell onto it rather than sitting down, and I just ordered a spare part and it came about a week later. Australian brand - not cheap but well worth it - and they make small tables as well.
We've been travelling for near 25yrs and have probably bought as many chairs in that time. Take a look at the Drift Stockton Deluxe Reclining Chairs with headrest. Very, very light at 4kgs and canvas is a good seat material. They would have to be the most comfortable chairs we've owned, and even better coupled with a foot stool like what you have. On sale for 150 currently.
Good on ya mate what brand is the camp oven please. I see you are well looked after the old girl gets you a beer. Thanks mate keep up the great work. Regards Rob
Cheers Rob, the brand is CampFire the link is in our description for that pot if that helps out. Mate to say I’m one lucky man would be an understatement. 👍 Thank you so much for the support Rob.
We will be doing a final review in the coming month or so but at this stage. I really do like it I think if you don’t want to put a whole setup in the car and want something portable that you can take anywhere and run pretty much anything it is great for that. Personally I would still choose to go the setup in the car simply because it wasn’t that hard to install and more flexibility with it plus my biggest love of the one in the car is you can connect it to the alternator and get about 30amp charge whilst driving. Hope that helps mate.
That is brilliant so glad you have also had a great experience with them also. Nothing better than finding a great brand you can rely on. Thank you for sharing your experiences 👍
It is campfire brand. We have it linked in the description if that helps 👍 we absolutely love it and one of the best things we have purchased for our setup.
That is so good! Yeah a good butane torch can make a lot of difference can’t it, I do the same and sometimes it has really saved us that’s for sure. P.S. thank you for sharing your experience with us and others mate. 👍
1/ How do you lean back and relax with that chair? Sitting forward all the time isn't that comfortable? 2/ Those two mosquito repellents work for midges? 2b/ What are those mosquito repellents like around asthmatics? Cheers for now. r
No that stool you see us sitting on it terrible for everyday use we are saying we would like to find a more comfortable compact chair. The repellent for memory doesn’t keep all midges away but I believe it has helped slowing them down at times. Madi and I have suffered with asthma over the years and have had no issues but that is our experience and couldn’t speak for others sorry. Cheers Robert 👍
Great but re Jetboil! "Fire Maple" at half the price or "Kmart brand" at 1/4 the price all do the exact same job! I have used all 3 over the past 5 years and only one of them is expensive ! Take some advise choose the Kmart one first and buy a Fire Maple for a second if you need it,, Experts like to test side by side and time the boil in seconds but seconds are irrelevant to most. I would not camp without a Jetboil or rip off! Bonus "all " Kmart and fire Maple versions can hold the small gas cannister with stand and pan burner inside the pot when packed away Most Jetboils cant! Thought I would share :)
I try to avoid anything (Tent- Tent swag) that is seam sealed sil nylon or poly canvas. It falls off in just a few years and is impossible to repair as it needs to be iron on. I have wasted thousands of dollars on sleep systems. Because I'm buying for two to four people the waste of money is huge! Simple cotton canvas swag on a stitched stretcher is the only system that has not let me down.
Amazing advice thank you so much for sharing that. Really great points to and something that I’m currently trying to do research on myself because I don’t know much about canvas. Thanks again. 👍❤️
Oh really that is really interesting and I didn’t know that. Thanks heaps for sharing that information. We have had another person comment saying they are a waste of time so we won’t be trying them and just stick with what we know works. Cheers 👍
It definitely is the way people are going but that is a lot of money to setup and those appliances take up a lot of room in a small space, are overly versatile and sometimes you just don’t have enough power to run it. But if you have the room and budget yeah a good option. We still use our jet boil everyday even with all that stuff.
Have to say husband is the best camping item. Multiple uses, whether putting roof up because I am vertically challenged, taking dog out to pee on freezing night and to fire starting and cooking. Well worth the investment.
😂 we loved this so much, how true is that great team work ❤️
What a cute staffy pup!!
She sure is pretty special 🥰
Love the idea of a pot/pan/camp oven combo. Thanks for your reviews!
That is great, really hope you got something out of it. Thank you for watching ❤️

A good insulated stubby holder and coffee cup like the yeti brand
Yeah they are brilliant aren’t they, we have had those types of cups for 5 odd years and I still get surprised when I have left my coffee and it’s hot when I return. 👍
Kmarts version of the Jetboil boils very quickly and way cheaper.
Perfect, can’t go wrong then. 👍
Hey Beau, you make adverts and reviews fun to watch 👍
Thank you so much for that mate. Hope you get something out of them 👍
Hey guys, what is the silicon looking thing you had in the camp oven? That looks like a great idea. Thanks
Hey it was an air fryer silicon liner unfortunately it touched the sides of the camp oven and melted and we haven’t found another to fit our one as yet. It was perfect though. 👍

Would love to try the Jet boil
We really love it everything is so quick and easy with it whilst staying compact and universal. 👍

We bought the same campfire brand combo from BCF for about $70. Works an absolute treat and really handy. Cheers 👍
What do you think about the bluetti

Oztent makes quality products. Always recommend. We have had our rv4 tent for almost 9 yrs... Hasn't skipped a beat.
That is brilliant so glad you have also had a great experience with them also. Nothing better than finding a great brand you can rely on. Thank you for sharing your experiences 👍
Hi guys, just wondering what brand is your camp oven? Love the idea of the frying pan lid and multiple purpose
It is campfire brand. We have it linked in the description if that helps 👍 we absolutely love it and one of the best things we have purchased for our setup.

Brilliant mate, I hope they are beneficial to your setup also. Cheers 👍

my surprising buy was a butane blow torch. cheap, pack away small, and are such an easy way to start a campfire. its almost like cheating
That is so good! Yeah a good butane torch can make a lot of difference can’t it, I do the same and sometimes it has really saved us that’s for sure.
P.S. thank you for sharing your experience with us and others mate. 👍

Mozfog come with warnings such as “ not safe for bees, pets etc”
Oh really that is really interesting and I didn’t know that. Thanks heaps for sharing that information. We have had another person comment saying they are a waste of time so we won’t be trying them and just stick with what we know works. Cheers 👍
As soon as you said jetboiler, well thats money for gas. Go solar and lithium with inverter. Electric jug bud
It definitely is the way people are going but that is a lot of money to setup and those appliances take up a lot of room in a small space, are overly versatile and sometimes you just don’t have enough power to run it.
But if you have the room and budget yeah a good option. We still use our jet boil everyday even with all that stuff.
Yea mate aussie aussie aussie oi oi oi

I could see a hell of a lot of money wasted in your video.
Fair enough 👍
