The flavours and tastes of some of those noodles and spices are the oldest in Southeast Asia. For instance Pad Thai apparently originated when some Thai Chinese visited Penang and experienced Char Kuey Teow for the first time. They liked it so much they went back and localized it and Pad Thai was born. Btw, Malaysia is the world's biggest consumer of Milo drink, even though it originated and is still sold in Australia.

Wow so interesting. The flavours of Asian food is just the BEST!!! When we are back home in South Africa we miss it so much.
At least we have Milo here 😂😂 so we have been enjoying that.

In hot weather you will want ice cold drinks but ice melts fast ...the reason why many drinks are prepared extra sweet. It would be balanced out once the ice melts

There are 3 main Malaysian foods,
    - "Malay" Malaysian,
    - "Indian" Malaysian,
    - "Chinese" Malaysian.
What I saw from this video is towards Malay and Indian Malaysian food. You guys have not tried Chinese Malaysian food unfortunately which is different from what you guys had from normal Chinese cuisines elsewhere.

Malaysia have much much more variety of foods to offer. What your food guide have shared are just mainly from the Indian and Malay food varieties. There're also the Chinese varieties such as Wan Tan(Pork & Dumpling) Noodles, Bak Kut Teh( Chinese Herbal Pork Stew), Char Kueh Teow (Stir fried flat rice noodles), Hokkien Mee(Dark Soy Sauce and Pork fried Noodles) etc. Go try them out for yourselves!😂😊👌
