  • Here's a recap of my Kanto motorcycle trip!
It seemed very long because I had to get up very early to see the sunrise, but surprisingly it was only 5 days.
Getting up early makes for a full day!
We started at Yoro Gorge and saw the stars and sunrise at Ohara Beach.
On the second day, we went to Kujukuri-hama beach to look at the sea, and then to Katori-jingu Shrine, Kashima Shrine, and Ushiku Daibutsu Shrine to visit Shinto and Buddhist statues. We also took a side trip to Tsukuba University.
After that, we headed to Kasama Inari Shrine with Mt.
The day ended with a stargazing at the torii of Kamiiso.
On the third day, we had a stylish morning at Seaver's Cafe.
After shopping in the atmosphere of Kurobane Aizome Konya, we headed to our second cafe of the day, CAFE SHOZO, where the atmosphere was also wonderful, and I understood a little more about how cafe lovers feel.
Traveling is all about discovering new things, as I ended up going twice to cafes I normally never go to once.
After a quick look at the Asian Old Bazaar, we drove to Kinugawa Onsen.
The Kinugawa Onsen Suzukaze had a sauna and was very relaxing.
The day ended when we were exhausted.
On the fourth day, we will go sightseeing around Nikko. Lake Chuzenji, the Italian Embassy Villa, the British Embassy Villa, and other places surrounded by nature are very relaxing.
The most memorable dish of the day was the 100-year curry at the Kanaya Hotel. It was the most expensive curry I have ever had in my life. The atmosphere in the hotel was also very pleasant, making it an unforgettable experience.
The afternoon was also full of nature. We saw many waterfalls: Senjogahara, Ryuzu Falls, Yudaki Falls, and Fukiwari Falls.
I guess my favorite is Fukiwari Falls. Please visit there.
Finally, we headed to Tsuchiai Station, which I visited for practice when I was in high school.
It was a place that brought back old memories.
On the fifth and final day, we headed to Kusatsu Onsen in the morning.
    The hot springs are great.
After that, we will go through Oni-Oshidashi Highway and arrive at Oni-Oshidashien.
The power of nature was tremendous.
The last sightseeing spot on this trip is the Tomioka Silk Mill.
We headed there with high expectations because it is a World Heritage site, and the power of the site did not disappoint us.
I highly recommend that you visit this place.
I had an image of Kanto as being full of buildings, but there is a lot of nature here, and it destroyed my image in a good way!
I would like to tour around Kanto again.
One of my major goals in life was to travel around Japan.
Places that are in textbooks, places I have heard of but never been to.
I think I had to see them with my own eyes to satisfy my mass of curiosity until the day I die.
To tell the truth, at the time of making this video, we have spent about 126 days to complete our round-the-Japan trip.
Most of the time, I loaded up my motorcycle with a lot of luggage, slept in a tent, and went around the sightseeing spots in a forced march style.
It was physically and mentally demanding, but I enjoyed the fresh days and gained a lot from them.
I also slept in a mini-car with friends and took an overnight bus to Kyoto in winter and experienced homeless life without a sleeping bag or tent.
All of these experiences are still fond memories that I can recall to this day.
I took as many videos as I could during the trip.
Therefore, some scenes and comments that may seem useless have been uploaded as is without cutting.
If you have any comments or suggestions, please let us know.
I would be happy if you, the viewers of this video, could feel as if you were on a journey.
    Thank you very much!
