As long as the material you pull through the barrel is less hard then steel.... it doesn't matter. You can't damage a steel barrel or soft steel barrel with cloth, brass, or plastic. It doesnt matter which way you pull it through. Now Googone might be a bit harsher than most gun cleaning lubes, but as long as you run a few dry patches of cloth down it to remove the residue, it'll be fine. Looks like that cleaning helped! 👍
@@SavageAirguns Thank you!😃👍 I fully believed that cleaning the way I did made all the difference. I believe where the muzzle chokes down, had excessive lead buildup. Great shooting. Great tip because a lot of people will tell you not to clean from the muzzle or you'll damage the crown. If your using something that could damage the crown you really should be using it. I have a few guns with baffles I just can't get my weed whacker line to go through due to the curl it has. I guess I need to use a hair straightening iron on it lol. That Goo Gone was recommended a lot on the GTA forums. Especially for Chinese and Turkish made guns. You do want to be careful with Goo Gone. I watched a guy use it to remove a stubborn sticker of a new refrigerator door and he rubbed it down to the bare metal. I wouldn't want to accidently get it on a stock or breech seal for too long. I sure like those area's you shoot at where you can fish and shoot.

Hello, Chuck. I want to consult you about something. I fired 400 shots with my rifle yesterday. The screw on the trigger guard is loose. What can I do to prevent these screws from coming loose ? I thank you in advance :)
@@Laoveyn First of all, I clean the screws and inside the screw inserts with rubbing alcohol. Then make sure that everything is dry, then add some blue loctite to the screw threads before reinserting them. Let it set up for 24 hours before using. That should take care of the problem. 😀👍

@@ADAM-qr7bi The CPHP and other Crosman pellets are very dirty and are lubricated. All of that gunk mixes together and leaves your barrel a mess.
