Awesome gun . I found some extra money early this summer so I bought an HW50S along with a Beeman R7 and a Cometa 300 Standard to top off my air gun collection.
I don't yet have the HW-50s yet, but might buy one eventually?, I bought 2 Beeman R-7's, and a COMETA 300 in .177 and a COMETA 400 USC in .177, and added them to my collection of others.

Hi Chuck, I'd prefer to remove the fore sight hood altogether AND, file the front blade thinner !! (you won't then need the other supplied, front sight elements)
Left is right. Usually, that works on everything, even scopes. And right is down. Tightening always drives in the elevation. I do it on red dots, pistols etc. Nice breaker so far 👍

There were two very small areas where they used wood filler. My biggest problem is how much grease they are putting in these rifles.
That's what that was then, on the forearm. It looked like it was wood filler there and not stained very good. That is weird they over greased it? It is a nice looking rifle. Thanks for the reply.
To move the point of impact with open sights, one moves the rear sight in the direction you want to move the point of impact. For example to raise the point of impact up, move the rear sight up.
As much as I love weihrauch, it’s kinda hard to recommend to newbies because of the issues you spoke about. I personally own two weihrauch breakbarrels and tuned them both to my liking, but from the box they’re not great and I would understand if newbies would be displeased with them. My new hw50s was also dieseling like a bugger! It sounded like a centerfire and my scope walked back as I was shooting from the sheer force… I ended up degreasing the insides and cutting three coils, to no avail:) opened her up again, cut two more coils and degreased again, with a tighter delrin spring guide, now she’s shooting really calm, but I had to put some work in… the thing most don’t consider however, is that now she’ll last me for the rest of my life, my grandchildren will still enjoy this rifle :) try that with a gamo😛 thanks for the upload!

That is why I was honest, telling people what I had to do to make the rifle work better. It's shooting pretty smooth at 12 FPE and incredibly accurate. I have tried a few different pellets since this video. One of the pellets proved to be insanely accurate. I had never shot a group this tight ever. It was 10 shots with Apollo pointed pellets at 25 yd and the group was just a little larger than a 22 caliber pellet.
My wife knocked a curtain rod into a vase and heavy drinking glasses. It all fell on my HW30S. The stock is dented and the barrel is chipped. Shit happens..........😂
My guns only come out of the case at the bench/slash table and go back in the case before leaving the table to prevent accidents because they can and will happen.

Oh hell no on that stock. That's not acceptable on a Weihrauch to me! That's not acceptable on a Chinese made air rifle. Unfortunately AOA I don't believe pays return shipping so I order by phone and have someone inspect the stock and make sure it looks good and I have them do their 5 -10 shot test. That really irks me that this gets past Weihrauch qaulity control. I've sent one back because of poor fit at the spacer and butt/but pad. I'm a collector as much as a shooter and I keep my air rifles looking as if they're brand new. Would drive me nuts seeing a bad spot from the factory. I can't believe they sent that out on an air rifle in this price range. Hope that's not a sign of things to come. Other than that a great little air riffle. I really love my little HW50S. You may be ok with it, but I'm pissed off at them enough for the both of us lol. That was my biggest fear ordering through Krale is you can't afford to return it. I've thought about ordering an HW30 through them, but I won't risk it now. I did get my HW97K through them 8 or so years ago and it was great and saved a huge chuck of cash.

They did use a little wood filler in a few spots, but my HW95 also had some wood filler in it. You could see on the buttstock a spot where it looks like it did not get stain. It's a very small spot and I can live with it. You are right, for the price it should be absolutely perfect. What really irks me is how much grease they put inside the compression tube. If someone who did not know how to take their rifle and take it apart to degrease it, it would be a real deal breaker. I just feel like if a person's going to get into break barrels and other air rifles, they need to learn how to take them apart and clean them up and replace parts. What's weird is my HW95 new was honking when I cocked it because it was dry. I think my HW50s was about right with no bad dieseling. I was looking at my old post on GTA from 8-9 years ago and came across where I put the Tin-Bum tuning kit in it after I had it about a month and the seal was burnt and pretty bad. I put it back together intending to replace it and forgot to.
That's a nice gun chuck but most guys don't have a clue on tearing one down .And for me I use mine for hunting and 600fps just don't cut it 800fps is about minimum for a 22 caliber wouldn't you say

I do understand that some people don't want to get into taking apart a spring piston rifle, but it is not all that hard and there are many videos on taking air rifles apart, including my channel. I would not say 800 FPS is the minimum, and FPS is a poor measurement for energy. Most people have no clue of how little energy it takes to take small game. Accuracy is the most important factor in taking small game with your air rifle. I have taken cottontails with 6 FPE, that is 6 ft lb of energy. I made a video a couple of years ago and I managed to shoot and penetrate a deer head with a Daisy 880. A Daisy 880 typically gets about 7 FPE. In Great Britain and other countries they have a sub 12 FPE limit. So most of their rifles are shooting around 11 FPE, but they managed to harvest many squirrels 🐿️and bunnies.🐇 If all works out, I will be hunting with this 12 FPE spring piston rifle and making videos this winter.❄️
As someone who started with a Gamo Swarm whisper, and later got got weihrauch hw50s, I would recommend the weihrauch instead of starting with Gamo, but it is your choice

The 22 smacks pretty hard for a 12 FPE spring piston rifle, and it seems to shoot many different pellets well too!😃
