That huge split on that generator building is a sign that the foundation is sinking!
or a sinkhole opened up under there
Oooof
@@ClumsyCars Ummm, aren't we saying the same thing? Lol. But yeah you right.
@@804MRMAN it can settle without a sinkhole. a sinkhole could open more at any time, while just settling is a slow process.
@@ClumsyCars Those buildings are like almost 50 years old, so settling has been set in. It's sinking. But yeah I've said you may be right. Lol
Glad to see that no one got hurt and that you all are safe and well prepared for the hurricane to hit. Items can always be replaced!!!
Just so you know its absolutely lovely up in Connecticut. The leaves are changing color, sun is shining
LMFAO WTF?
@@blankaffinity LZ moved from CT
aye a fellow ct local
“Not going to stand in the middle of the hurricane” Cleetus - “hold my beer” he literally stood outside and filed from the eye of the hurricane. It was eerie!
Cletus is all over social media these days
That dude would turn anything into a monetary gain
@@CharlesB-NGNMHow ?
@@TommyToboggan611 A smart business person would make money when possible and Cleetus is an entertainer, it also doesn't make him a bad guy or mean he doesn't care about people. Now, showing the center of the storm wasn't about making money, I guarantee he didn't do it because he thought he would make money. Showing that is part of his story/channel. Just like this video and Adam saying that so many people wanted to know how the compound and all the people were doing, Cleetus fans also want to know what life is like for him. I know what it is like to have all the hills and mountains on fire around where I live, and I don't get out of bed for any earthquake less than 6.5, but a hurricane for the SoCal area is just a little bit of normal weather, so I'm glad he showed what life is like for them.
@@TommyToboggan611 got to do what they gotta do
Nothing like having a diesel generator. After sweating for two days after Frances in '04, I got components (Kubota diesel/Stamford Newage end/60 gallon tank) and built my own. Then Jeanne came, and then Wilma in '05. In all, was without service for a little over a month but enjoyed a/c and refrigeration. Glad everyone is safe. Hope Cleetus came through ok.
I saw on Cleet's personal FB page that they're all good, all the guys too.
@@feidrythat's good news. Waiting on cleetus video. I think today or tomorrow I'd imagine.
@@feidry Thanks!
@@feidry Thanks for the update man, that dude is a national treasure
That generator is unbearable loud and I bet it stinks like Heck! He's gonna experience power outages very frequently in the future. Would be better to invest in a big solarpower system and a big bunch of lifePo4 powerwall batteries. He could save a ton of money all year around and have the backup system for emergencies like now! AS He said. a lot of maintainance is also required on these diesel beasts!
West Palm here... Suuuuper lucky. My buddy from Tampa came here 2 days ago after tightening down his house. Helene totaled his truck, this storm filled his place with water. He still hasn't gone back there yet. Just reports from his neighbor who refused to leave Tampa. WERE ARE LUCKY
Tampa local , definitely got it Heavy here. Stayed up all night and right when sunrise hit it was time to thankful & help the neighbors. Kept the cars safe thanks to USF opening the parking garages.
We are very relieved that you are ok, it must suck to see the compound underwater, but I know the compound will bounce back. Love your attitude towards the whole situation.
The compound will bounce back in a short term sense, but in the long term, it's only going to get worse. Adam needs to unload this place and start fresh.
If you don't already, could get one of those Track Tractors. The ones that have those big rollers on the front for sweeping away all the rubber

The tornadoes in Palm Bay, Port St Lucie, and areas around there got absolutely hammered. I have family down there. Her community alone has 35 fatalities.
Sorry to hear this.
yea i am from PSL and the tornados were bad the pslpd fleet maintenance buliding is gone
35 fatalities injured? Because current reports are only 11 deaths even including the tornadoes.
Oh damn
@2JZOnly yep I live in psl as well and 2 hit by my house between becker and Gatlin
got a bunch of power trucks coming from Nova Scotia Canada to you guys to help 🇨🇦
That's a helluva drive! Respect from AB
drive safe brother!!
Saw one from Brunswick come in. Thanks for the help
Coming from someone who used to build power generators for stuff like this, I HIGHLY recommend a cummins brand if you ever decide to get new. They're for the most part water resistant for the unit that size you have and fairly affordable for someone like you guys. The switch system might be more then the unit itself but they pay for themselves. Used to work for Cummins power generation and the tech that comes with them are awesome
Very glad to hear you’re all safe and sound 🎉
I love how TH-cam completely stopped recommending me your videos for the past little while I have no clue why.
Thanks for sharing and glad you are safe.
Plumbers putty, if you want to make a building opening barricade. Plywood and 2x's, make it rigid if it's a wider span than just a entry door, use the plumbers putty to seal the edges and bottom. Works like playdough, seals like silicone, comes back off with minimal effort. Edit: Can also make a big ball and smack it down around where your pipe goes into your well casing and seal it off from seepage. Not 100% but helps a lot. In S Ga Debby came through and about 3-4 days later the river overflowed and washed out a lot of homes. You are one step ahead if you are watching the river gauge.
I'm glad that everyone is safe and sound. Fingers crossed for your family and friends in the State of Florida. Praying from AZ 🙏
Thanks for the update. Glad everyone is safe. Your prep seems to be spot on.
Videos from you, Cleetus and Tavarish really tell the real story without all the media spin. Thanks again.
I'm in Tarpon Springs. We were going to evacuate to the east coast, in Port St. Lucy. Last minute we changed our minds and went about 35 miles inland instead. We would have been right in the path of those tornados had we not changed our mind. Needless to say we are beyond grateful!
I live in Port Saint Lucie bruhhh
palm harbor here, didnt go anywhere and nothing happened
17 tornadoes here in st Lucie county. Been in Florida all my life and I’ve never seen that many. Glad yall are safe. (Ps the dumpster pic was taken like 10 minutes from me)
I'm so glad to see this wasn't nearly as bad as it could have been. You guys really nailed the prep this time, and this gives an opportunity to continue to improve for the future! Stay blessed!
3:36 I knew it... Adam was sandbaggin'

From New Zealand, I'm sending you all lots of love. You have a huge admirer in me, my brother LZ. wishing you all the best over there
It was a category 3 when it made landfall. It was a cat 5 while still over open water in the Gulf of Mexico.
Glad to hear you all made it out safe from the Hurricane.
it’s funny how i never thought twice about hurricanes but since ive been watching adam a lot more recently helene and milton kinda had me worried, glad you guys are doing good and hopefully the compound doesn’t stay flooded too long

Glad to see yall are safe. The water seems to be much less severe than last time so that's good.
I’m glad everyone is ok hope you guys the best.
Glad everyone was ok. ❤ replace drywall with Wainscot. Will cut cost of doing drywall and has an R value incase of in a building with a/c. Done in some places years ago since we are in Pittsburgh pa and deal with flooding.
Spinning brush attachment for the skid steer will clean the concrete for sure. 10:17
I didn’t realize how many youtubers i follow that live in florida. Glad to hear yall are ok.
So glad you guys are safe! Nature can be super wild, but it's cool to see how the community comes together. Love the positivity! 💪🌊
Sending you all much love from New Zealand, I'm a big fan of yours my bro LZ... Praying for you all over there
I appreciate the update. I'm glad everyone is secure. Your preparation appears to be flawless. Videos from you, Cleetus and Tavarish really tell the real story without all the media spin. Thanks again.
Everytime you’ll be better prepared. A more modern generator setup should be considered. The bigger they are the better the cost per kw. Getting fuel can always be a problem so we put in a dual fuel generator and a 2000 gallon propane tank for when the fuel trucks couldn’t get to us. Kept the lights on during several floods. With the right setup you can goose it with a little diesel and get the hp up. But we ran 1Mw generators. Lots of extra power for pumps as well to keep things flowing. ✌️
I hope Colette is fighting the sun out there with those sun glasses 😂
Lol 🤣🤣
glad you guys are all good and were well prepared!
happy to hear your all safe!
Thank God! God bless you guys!!! Was thinking about you guys big time!!! Every one down there!!!
There was a giant flood recently in Poland where I live. I know how hard this situation can be. Keep up.
I'm glad to hear that nobody was harmed and that everyone is secure and ready for the hurricane to make landfall. You can always replace items!

What's up Adam, glad you and Collete are safe. You should buy a street sweeper attachment for a skid steer. Would make your life so much easier with the clean up!
Glad to here everyone is safe.
Glad yall are okay Adam
Glad to learn you are safe and sound!
Happy to hear that you guys are safe and sound, being safe is most important of all!
I'm by no means a professional, yet.. wouldn't it be an idea to build a huge underground catch basin at the lowest point of the compound? Either the lowest point, or make the entry point at a level where it would potentially cause damage to buildings...that way it might be smaller in size. You could pump it out over time in a controlled manner.. ofcourse it would also catch rain water, unless you make it so that you can close it off and only open it for major rainfall / hurricanes. Sure it would be expensive but I doubt it would be more expensive than the massive economical and emotional damage you could receive from a direct hurricane hit...
Just an idea, I hope you see it.
Glad y'all are fine! Stay safe!
man. praying for everyone who was hit, i can only imagine the damage and loss that’s happened for everyone in the bottom right corner of the states💔
Thanks Adam. Take care man.
