Great video. Timing is paramount for sure, and something I work on every day. I love the idea of a metronome that reduces the sounds over time, I’ll be adding that to my practice routine. I was told once “if you can’t play it in time, you can’t play it” and I live by that.
Well, you're right, as I am self-taught guitarist (and I'm still learning) I know these mistakes perfectly, but thank to the Deities I was able to stop on time these mistakes before they became an bad habit... the harder is the fifth one (timing), but as I am formerly a drummer it helped me a lot. Excellent class, thank you.👍
@@fulltimeguitar Well, you're right again, no matter how much we know because there's always a lot more that we don't know yet, and yes, "timing" is an extremely wide subject that never has an end. Your work here is priceless on that matter, thank you again.
I have a batch of new videos incoming. Practice routines might be a great idea for another video so thanks for the suggestion. short answer to this, i usually follow a practice routine, sometimes its strict, other times a little more loose. It will always change depending on what goal i am working on at the time

Thanks! To be honest, Nobody is "finished" working on timing, thats why i felt it was so important to include.
