Unfortunately I get a bit of reaction from the TOBS Sandalwood, not on the skin but it gives me the sneezes, other TOBS are fine, so I would use the Red Proraso instead. The 34C is a great startup razor, it was mine 10 years ago and I still love it. Nick Shaves is a great channel for startup demos. I did actually save money DE shaving for the first 6 years and then I got into Artisan soaps, brushes, razors etc, I blame Covid😅 Great looking shave Gary🤟🤠🤟
Hi Gary great brother, very nice shave! You started with a very nice Razor 😊 I think that I wouldn't change anything, maybe live more intensively and enjoy life more! And could I send a message to my younger self. It would say listen more to your father, take everything he can give you in terms of his experiences, skills and actions.
Tobs pink grapefruit is one of my favourites Gary but tobs sandalwood I found gave me a reaction so I gave that away plus also scent wise I found proraso red was so much nicer for me. I’ve said it before mate but I do like it when you put products, price and where to get them from on the screen, keep up the good work pal
Nice video, My starter razor was the Mühle R41, a little crazy but, never had any bad cut or nick with is..still one of my best DE i have, i saving to get a Feather Artist, i borrow one, never had a better shave, that i got from that one.. 🕳_______________🐇
The Muhle R41😯 As a first razor😱 Wow!! That is very brave. What made you choose that razor as a first razor? The Feather AC is an amazing razor and is often considered as the Roll Royce of shavettes. The only caveat is the price.
@MrGShave i was in Germany for a Christmas event and Mühle did have stand there and I talk to them. because i had never been able to with out getting very red and iratated skin. So he offered me a shave to prove me it was possible. He gave my best shave i had. And he did use the r41 and made me a starter set with the r4, badger brush and soap. Needless to say that was the entrance to the rabbit hole. 🐇
Great shave Gary, can’t beat the feel of the brush & soap on the dome 😂
Hope you have a great weekend
Paul

Cheers Lawrie👍 Yes, I have heard that TOBS Sandalwood isn't for everyone.
It was Nick Shaves that inspired me to ditch the carts many years ago🙂
