The interview with Dr. Well was excellent! You are both amazing medical professionals and I wish there were more people like you where I live! I did a home sleep apnea test that came back moderate. The pulmonary doctor put me on CPAP. I’m getting less sleep now because of the noise of the machine, the weight of something on my face, the moisture inside the nasal pillow, and the different sensations, like a tickle, inside the pillow. The mask gives me a headache too. I’m on my second mask type and it’s been since 5/23. I’m an extremely light sleeper! I’m hoping that somehow I will adjust to all the obstacles that have messed up my sleep.

I would never get on a CPAP machine… I don’t like their remedies and treatment for lack of sleep..

I believe that potatoes were the cause of my sleep apnea. After cutting them out of my diet completely for about two weeks my airways had become much clearer.

Already I’m hesitant to buy into her idea when she says , “not treated”. Does she recommend drugs to treat any issues..

I am a light sleeper and every little thing wakes me up. I also get to thinking about something and can’t shut my brain down to sleep. I am on pills for afib which I have read does not help.🤷🏼‍♀️

There’s so much more to sleep than sleep apnea. I appreciate the info but if that many people have sleep apnea, there’s an underlying issue that needs to be looked at.
