This is what I'm listening to on a Saturday morning. These historical events are well known to me because I was told about them as a child. Still, it was a pleasant way to begin the weekend. A bit of trivia: The combination of the terms Dama and Udara yields the word Damodara. Udara means belly or stomach, while Dama means Binding, Obstruction, Barrier, Tide-up, etc. (each Sanskrit word can be translated into many contemporary words, the language is that versatile) meaning, as you put it, "someone bound by the belly."
