To secure an academic job in Finland as a periodontist and professor in a dental college, you should:
Search for academic job openings at Finnish universities and dental colleges, particularly those with dental faculties or departments. Websites like Academic Positions, EURAXESS, and university career pages are good starting points.
Prepare a comprehensive academic CV and cover letter tailored to the Finnish academic system.
Network with professionals in your field in Finland, which can be done through academic conferences, seminars, or online platforms like LinkedIn.
Consider contacting Finnish academic institutions directly to inquire about potential openings or to express your interest in future opportunities.
Ensure your qualifications are recognized in Finland. This may involve getting your existing qualifications accredited or undergoing additional assessments as per Finnish regulations.
Depending on the institution, you may need to demonstrate proficiency in Finnish, Swedish, or English.

Can i apply from abroad (non-eu country) as dentist without language proficiency and complete the language proficiency course in Finland if i get a positive response by submitting my documents ?

Applying to immigrate to Finland as a dentist from a non-EU country without language proficiency is challenging. Finnish language proficiency is generally required to practice dentistry in Finland. It's recommended to attain at least a basic level of Finnish before applying. You may be able to complete a language proficiency course in Finland, but confirming eligibility with the Finnish Immigration Service and the National Supervisory Authority for Welfare and Health (Valvira) is essential.

    Hey bro
What do you mean that "Remember that the internship must have been completed 3 years before you take the required exams in the next stages?
    Could you explain more please

The requirement that "the internship must have been completed 3 years before you take the required exams in the next stages" means that any professional internship you complete as part of your qualification as a dentist must be recent, specifically within the last three years, before you sit for the licensing examinations in Finland. This ensures that your practical experience is current and relevant to the standards and practices in Finland.

Hi.. during internship will we get paid or we have to afford the expenditure during this period?

In Finland, if you are a dentist undergoing an internship, the payment situation can vary. Often, internships in the healthcare sector, including for dentists, are paid, providing some level of income to cover living expenses. However, the exact amount and the terms of payment depend on the employer or the institution where you are doing your internship.
It's important to confirm these details before starting your internship. You can inquire directly with the institution or employer offering the internship about the payment structure. Also, consider the cost of living in Finland and ensure you have sufficient financial resources to support yourself during your internship, especially if the pay is minimal or the internship is unpaid.
Additionally, if you are an international dentist, you should also consider the requirements for practicing in Finland, which may include language proficiency tests, additional training, or certification exams.

The processing time for a work visa at the Norway embassy in the UAE, including the return of your passport, can range from a few weeks to several months. This duration varies based on the embassy's workload and the specifics of your case. For the most accurate information, it's best to contact the Norway embassy in the UAE directly.

@@visalibrary The healthcare system is in ruins. It used to be good, not anymore. I wish people would stop spreading rumors about "free" healthcare as well; recently I got a small cavity on my front tooth fixed. It cost over 60 euros!!
