Hi Lyn😌🙌Well, I'm amazed at how pristine some of those cacti are😱🤲💖Derek and Martin must be on patrol all year to keep the epidermis that gorgeous. I give them at 10/10 for growing skills😌🙏I loved watching Lyn, and thanks for the great and slow camera work showing all the cacti🥰

@@desertplantsofavalon The Astrophytums are my absolute favourites and I've tried to grow quite a few types of them from seed, but only a few have been successful. The largest of them (grafted to Myrtillocactus) is a Myriostigma var. Nudum about the size of a golf ball. I still find it hard to believe they get to the size of the ones in the show!

Great video and amazing plants, They are the bees knees. We have over twenty in the house on the sills and I cant buy anymore because my wife hates them. She has told me if she sees another cactus I will be sleeping in the desert with them.

plenty stunning plants on show, id bet you got plenty what worthy for display too but i guess the issue getting them to show. maybe one day i might give it ago and enter some my plants as few do fit the grade but it have to be a more local one as not fancy travelling distance with them. looks a great show, must visit one at one point :)

17:24 That Weingartia was shockingly beautiful. I literally paused the video to buy some seeds. I couldn’t find that specific cultivar (sucrensis), but I bought a few W. neocumingii.
I really shouldn’t watch these videos. I always end up buying stuff while watching.

Shame it wasn’t there when I went to visit Ireland and Dublin’s botanical gardens a while ago. The video started and it thought I recognize those nice greenhouses haha. (I think they’re really nice especially compared to the very modern greenhouse we have at my local botanical garden)
