I saw them live in Glasgow changed my life..we thought we could change the world.. wild violent beautiful times.. We tried hard.. we lost..we still have the music..keep flying your freak flag..see you all in the next incarnation..
We didn't lose; we never lose. After the Apocalypse, two creatures will survive; roaches and us, the perennial hippies. We will emerge blinking and stoned into a new dawn; and our first word will be, "Bummer"!
Finally thought to check that this was on youtube. Classic tripping album, fond memories of seeing them in Sheffield, but clearly not just about taking LSD. We didn't really pursue the invitation to enlightenment, however cool we thought we were then. Hope we learnt something, though.
but also a great show, just... awesome, a great time back then, free love
Great band, I saw it live at the Fantasio Club Dortmund in 1970!!! The beautiful songs still give me goosebumps

i got the humdredth hit ,so thanks for the post, a great guitar expression here , from mahadev
a very controlled guitar which gives real deep sounds and ecstatic moments. the solos on this album are very pronounced and highly energetic
Joyous music from Quintessence from the '70s. Rock on...
powerful guitar solo !
Up from 1:57 the driving power of that guitar is tremendous and leads the mind into its source.
The whole Album is a classic
