I discovered Blixa quite by accident. Sometimes you hear an album and think not much of it but there is something that tells you to listen to it again. I did. I’m glad I found it. This song is a master piece, the album is full of depth and meaning. I recommend buying it. It’s one of those albums that needs to be given the attention of listening. This reminds me very much of Leonard Cohen.

Percussion is "temporal", it marks the passing of time. It's the heartbeat of the song. The perfect balance between sound and space. That finger symbol (used mostly in eastern meditation practices to bring us into the moment) is a gentle juxtaposition on the reflexive journey the rest of the song provides. And the lyrics are perfect. I can't describe why. If you love the lyrics and/or appreciate them, they have a special significance for every listener. Perfectly crafted in every aspect.
