The animation in this show is pretty impressive, but I personally feel like MAPPA’s blending of the CG backgrounds with the 2D animation can be distracting sometimes and leaves the viewers confused as to where to look. Also I find it distracting when they add a lot of textures on the monsters and things like that. Overall it’s pretty good though.
its cause they dont have that much time to animate compare it to shows like demon slayer and seven deadly sins ufotable prolly has a lotta time in their hand while jc staff doesn't have as much
@@Nobody-co4td Thats not time issue actually the 2d in Jujutsu Kaisen is simply god tier but the composition holds back the animation and that is because the guy who is in charge of the compositing department does not have much experience but he is improving and also Jujutsu Kaisen is animated by MAPPA not JC. Staff.
@@PappyMandarine Composite or the "Photography" team manage how the scene will look after all the animation/coloring is done. Depending on the Photography Director's instructions (the director, episode director, or even an animator can make requests as well) they can make a color look brighter, add extra textures, light flares, and other extra effects that weren't on the original animation. In the end, they're supposed to ensure that all the elements animation/colors/bg look as harmonious as they can.
man i miss so much this animation, wish season 2 had this animation and direction :(

@@dpdp2983 Thanks bro' for the lesson. I guess it's similar in a few ways to what the Director of Photography does on a movie. Cheers!
