    Hello Chris, just subscribed. I loved that image with the large boulder in the middle of the frame. It would help if you published the EXIF details, I loved when you were out and about but a little too much chat indoors for me lol

    Hi Chris good to see you back on the road again ,have you had a look at The ebook Peak District through the lens by James Grant it’s ideal for locations gives directions rates how hard the walking is tells you where to park etc. just a thought anyway thanks for all your work.

    I can feel your pain when you know you are so close to a location but damned if you can find an easy way there. When I last visited Three Shires Head, I parked at the public car park at Derbyshire Bridge, just east of the Cat and Fiddle pub, then took the footpath south across Axe Edge Moor - an enjoyable walk. I recognised the old barn and lone tree. First video I've seen of yours, so I'll give it the thumbs up and hit subscribe and check some more of your work.

    Hi Paul, it was nice to finally see you going out again. That was an interesting place and i think it's going to look fantastic in the spring. I also liked the home photo. The mangled barb wire in the foreground did something for me. However, in the b&w version I think you should consider a different dodging and burning. It could potentially have more impact if it was processed in a slightly different way. Just my opinion of course 😀

      Marieta Tsoukoukou hey hi thanks for shopping by it’s is a great location with beautiful views and your right in the spring it will be amazing. Black and white is not really my thing but I just thought it would be something different to break up the flow of the slideshow Thanks again Chris.

    Hi, Chris, I do a few weddings as well as landscape I can't let go of my Canon gear too I have the Fuji XT1 and Fuji X-Pro 2. I must admit the Fuji files are great it's a difficult one.More recently I have got into landscape photography using my Canon 5D MkIII with Lee filters, did it mean you had to buy a new set of filters for the Fuji. Cheers, Chris.

    • @cppuk
      @cppuk  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      jai sri ram no just a 67mm filter ring for the 10-24 Fuji lens the 77mm fits the 100-400. So that was good. I know what you mean about letting go. Cheers Chris

    • @jaisriram2989

    I’ve gradually switched from FF Nikon to Fuji over the last 5 years, now 100% Fuji and loving it. Are you a Midlands chap? I’m from Burton upon Trent....do you use the Lee 100 system? Cheers.....Jon.

    • @cppuk
      @cppuk  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Jonathan Fletcher hello Jonathan I’m loving the Fuji system to but still have my ff canon kit. I’m not using it but it is hard to let go. Yes I’m from Leicester I know Burton well I have shoot there a few time. Always want to photograph the old trains parked up but it look tricky to get in. Ok thank you for dropping by and thanks for your comment Chris.

    Hmmm, a Spiderman car air freshener, eh. Now I'm wondering if you sleep in Spiderman pajamas, lol. 🕷
    You have a plethora of lovely countryside over there in the U.K. It seems here in the U.S. we are doing our best to destroy ours. Anyway, that view at the 1:50 mark would have made a nice panorama. Great work once again Chris.

    I felt your pain trying to find the Three Shires, Chris lad, it did make me chuckle! I photographed it at end of September 2017. I also stopped en route at that exact same ‘pull-in’ and took the same shots down the valley like you did...great minds eh! Incidentally, not sure if you were aware? But if you look at those pictures, as you look down that same valley shot, at the far end, at the bottom of the valley, that’s where the Thrre Shires is! It took me three separate trips out to find the bloody place, it’s a bugger to find ain’t it! It’s not signposted, there’s no ‘designated’ car park close by, you can’t get a phone signal to help you either and the terrain is very tuff! If you think you’re just going to walk about and ‘stumble’ upon it, forget it, do your research long before even attempting to go out with heavy camera gear on your back. As Chris will confirm, it’s one of those places you don’t actually see or hear until you are literally right on top of it! After all that, I didn’t really do it justice myself, you did better matey, but we’re never happy are we!? :-) atb, Dazza.
