I am building a boardgame and got a company to lazer cut a card holder. My pirate figures are lazer cut and look amazing. Your running session was great. So much to see as the trains move around. 😊
It all seems progress of sorts and the viaduct build seems to have been pretty intensive so why not have a break and do other things? As for distractions, if your head isn’t turned by a Gresley A4 then nothing will. Doesn’t matter what era or region you model. It is still a thing of very great beauty!
Julian it is magnificent you have created a vey detailed and realistic scene once you get rid of the grey baseboard and add the ground and grass areas it will be brilliant and "almost" complete ha ha no chance !!!
Hi Julian. The viaduct is very reminiscent of Stockport viaduct which carries the main line from the Manchester area to London. I will see if I can find any recent pictures. Best wishes.
You are too hard on yourself Julian, building a new wall and reorganising some of your workspace is significant. Great to see trains running, an we will know when you are happy and the Class 24 (or was it 25?) and 9F come out to play! It will be good to see how Paul get son with your viaduct kit, do you plan a live stream commentary on his efforts??
"I need somewhere else to put my wall mount cabinet ... so let's just knock up a quick extra wall for it". And I thought I was bad for this kind of stuff :D
While watching those trains speed around the layout, I kept thinking that after all your good work with the scenery in a number of areas, the only pieces of track ballasted are in the goods yard and across the original viaduct near the station. I really think you need to add a new project to your list - ballast some of the tracks. The bare track and boards under the track detract from the great scenery.
Those pesky trains need to run! 😂 layouts coming nicely, really stating to take shape. The viaduct / engine shed / coal stage area is looking good 👍 The back scene will make a big difference and pull it all together 😊 Great to see the layout in full, very impressive! Keep the videos coming 👍 thank you 😊
Sidetracked Julian! We've all been there and end up with more jobs on the go than we wish for. Good to see the running session and the shots from underneath the viaduct were particularly good. Nice to see the whole layout in action. Keep well. Best wishes Kevin
What a series of fantastic running shots especially like 8:20 amazing. Interesting what you say about being sidetracked, it is an easy thing to do for all of us I think.
Another nice video Julian. Ambient music was lovely and it was nice to see the layout from angles I’ve not seen since I started following your channel. I never knew there was a lower Chanel running through the middle. At first I thought it must be an urban cancel or river, but later in the video it’s a twin track cutting. Where does that go to/from?… Eagerly waiting for the next one.
Great running, it seems a age since we saw such a session, you've got some very interesting shots when the back scene is in place. The only fly in the ointment is what a lot of ballasting ahead of you, but hay ho. Really a great inspirational railway. Thanks for your excellent updates. Eddy xx
Hi Julian, great seeing trains running through. Lovely perspectives of the layout. Cheers.

Hi Julian, really enjoyed your video and the progress you are making...Full Steam Ahead....Cheers Greg
Awesome as always Julian. Love seeing your progress.
Awesome video Julian!!! Many thanks for sharing! Cheers Onno.
Everything looks great Julian. Thank you 🙏

Track ballasting is one of the last tasks I carry out. Once an area is fully scenic'd, I'll ballast the track-work in that area.
Do it once, do it right.
Still progress Julian.
Better now than never.
Happy Modelling.

Great video Julian, it’s amazing how Station road has evolved over the years of following you. Great running season too.
They do look great running around. I think it works very well. I always look forward to a new post.

Yay, trains!
It’s been so long since I’ve watched a “Running Session” I’ve forgotten your track plan & what it looks like
I went back 6 months and found your track plan videos and refreshed my mind
Some great views
Hi Julian what are you using for a cutting mat with your ortur laser cutter. Are they available to purchase?
