Hi I'm at the beginning of renovation of a large dolls house and I've got a shop + house kit coming in the next week. So I'm starting at the beginning of ur videos starting tonight then a marathon of them tom I'm looking forward to watching them all:-) 😄
Thank you for your videos. I just found your channel. Subscribed!! Can’t wait to watch the other videos. I was contemplating buying a new dollhouse kit or doing a Reno on one I found. I’m following your journey with this one! Thank you. Your videos are inspiring.
Wow, at 13:17 even not done it looks so real already except for that ENORMOUS bottle of glue reaching almost to the ceiling!! I love a window above the sink too. Those legs were pretty amazing but I see why you had to remove them from that sink.
I am loving these videos!!!! And the name is so creative!!!!! I love it! I am going to be working on putting window trim up soon and would love a video on the steps of howto do that.
Hey Emily, thanks for watching! In case I don't get a video up on trim by the time you start work on your trim, the steps are pretty simple. First thing you'll need is a cutting tool that allows you to make 45 degree cuts i.e. miter snips or mini miter box with a saw. I made a video on my miter snips if you'd like to check it out: th-cam.com/video/PmBnral8YYw/w-d-xo.html Once you've got your desired cutting tool, it's simply measure the window casing and cut your trim to the right size. I always paint my trim after cutting and before install. I use basic Elmer's Glue All since it tends to be less of a mess and is water soluble when wet so clean up is pretty easy with just a damp paper towel. Hope that helps!
Love your details!! Could you provide a source for all of your purchased fixtures? I would really love to know where you found those windows and I am also curious about the counter tops. Thank you!! Looking forward to your next video!
Thanks! Sure, I get just about everything from miniaturedesigns.com. The basswood I either pick up from a hobby store or if I have time I'll order it on Amazon and get a big supply. The windows with the white striping came with the house but miniaturedesigns.com has a selection of windows with white striping. As for the counter tops, I ordered white acrylic it's like plexiglass but solid white instead of clear. It's safe to laser cut which is a plus!
Absolutely. I'm going to be changing the layout of the whole house in the coming weeks so in the next couple of videos it'll be more apparent the full layout of the house.
LOVIN IT! You are quite skilled.... should study design perhaps. (What company made the sink? Where'd ya get it?? I ask becaz I bought, 'it was my grandmother's ftom the 1930's" on ebay a monrh ago!) When it arrived, it looked awful 'fresh' for 100 yo!! Ebay sellers are not what tgey used to be. Who are you favorite miniture manufacturers? That would be a neat video, compare, contrast sorta thing. ALSO, a review of favorite TOOLS needed to construct your own design. Do you have website/instagram/or twitcher acct? 🥸✌
Agree tools video would be nice, not sure if she's done that, but there is a link to the sink in description, I haven't checked to see if it still works or is available

Amazed at how detailed this is! Fantastic! Any chance you could do a brief “here’s the whole layout” tour in a future video?

I know this is an older video, but where did you get the hexagon flooring? I'm just about desperate enough to make a cricut design
Courtney S it’s a vacuum form sheet I got from a dollhouse shop. I forget the brand who makes it though. I got it from miniature designs in Atlanta.
