Marvel Legends MORLUN Spider-Man Action Figure Review

- While the Morbius movie might have bombed harder than just about any other movie ever, the vampires are still a popular component of the Spider-Man rogues gallery. Will this lesser-known villain be able to satisfy fans even though they've been wanting a good Morbius figure for ages?

He's actually a pretty cool villain imo
Morlun is one of those characters that i love to hate (in a good way), like... This guy basically tanks EVERYTHING spidey throws at him and doesn't stop hunting him no matter what happens, he's so f ing annoying 😂😂😂😂
Don't care for the character, but I still got him on sale for fodder use. I really like the look of the suit on this figure.
this is the figure ever made
It is certainly the figure of its time
I wanted morbious but Morlun and his family the inheritors are badass Morlun can fight your whole Spider-Verse characters. I have a strong feeling he will be in the new spider verse movie coming out.
The alternate head sculpt reminds me of Keaton's Batman "nuts" mode
The hand teaser made me really hope for a TAS morbius but I remember his arch from the comics being really good. Downside is the JRJR art I associate with Morlun doesn't really translate though they did kinda get the body shape. The giant chin throws me off. Just wish he had alt fists
Good addition for my spiderman villains collection.
I don't know this guy but he does look like someone cared about him, he looks cool. The alternative head comment made me laugh xD
Anthony you were my childhood. Thank you man
He doesn’t have fangs he’s an energy vampire who take the power from Spider heroes in the multiverse
Then he really shouldn't be making the face on the alt head
When I first saw him I was like oh cool but when I got him I was like wow this is a amazing figure and got me to learned about the character
I like the character even though he killed Spiderman in the Spider-verse comic and I also found him at my local Walmart and got him, But to me, I would love to see an updated comic book Blade because the 2nd head doesn't have his fangs showing.
I wasn't familiar with this figure but I picked it up anyway on sale for under $12 bucks, that seemed like a good value for a Marvel Legends figure, new in the box
I would rather a more bulky body for Morlun, like he looks in his first apprearence on the Straczynski run and a more serious stoic head. Overall still a good enough figure for a character that i really wanted to see on Marvel Legends form.
Why would we need another Morbius over the primary antagonist of Spider-verse?
I agree with your critics,
Thanks for the review Anthony.
He's on discount at some outlets. I already picked up a couple of him, but I guess I'll pick up a couple more. Always nice to have a few extra Dracula-esque bodies sitting around for whatever occasions may arise.
It's Morlun time
If the guy is wearing a tux with tails, he’s not roundhouse kicking anyone.
Maybe the limited articulation is part of the fantasy.
Cool character! Excellent review 💯🤟💗
Apparently I was the only person who wanted him bc I payed full price when he came out. I loiked spiderverse alot.
Not the most popular character but man this is a good looking figure 👌🏼
I got this dude cause I want to make a custom Strahd from Dungeons & Dragons. One day I'll get around to it.
Hey i am here to ask a question is it still okay to collect the street fighter sota figure i found for really cheap like 30$ seems rare but due to being it that old will cause any frozen joints or problem?
They were always at risk of having stuck joints. Just be careful. Worth it. One of the best lines ever produced.
@@AnthonysCustoms thanku so much for answering btw love your reviews
Thanks. Happy to help
Morlun is actually a big Spider-man villain
I think he's pretty much just tall human sized.
@@AnthonysCustoms nice one
;)
I was wondering what stands you use for your figures, I know you don’t use any in this video but I have seen you use them in other videos.
9 out of 10 for limited possibility, only one poorly executed accessory, sloppy silver paint apps and a price hike... Interesting.
Conspiracy
Zup Anthony, I don’t care for either figure but this one looks pretty good tho, thanks for the video bro 😎👍🏼
Got him for cheap to use for a persona 5 joker custom.
This was on clearance for like $12, I guess the character isn't real popular? I like his vest, so I picked up an extra one to use as fodder and sold off the BaF piece for $10.
"see my vest, see my vest"
Bought this from my job for $5!
He looks like Dracula, is he a vampire?
Ya
He's the leader of the Inheritors, a group of vampire-type villains who feed on the life force of Spider totems (all the spider themed people from the various universes). So he evokes the vampire aesthetic, but doesn't need fangs.
@@mkl4466 I wonder if he appears in Morbius Sequel movie?
Dont care for either. I bought this to do a Jack Nicholson Joker custom
Why does Spiderman have two unrelated Vampire villains?
I thought Morlin was based off of the Morbius from the cartoon. Mainly the hand based suckers like the show.
god I hated it. jk don't even collect ML just watch your videos for the artful, thoughtful eyes. how about a super7 review of something they've got one of these days to boot?
Idk. Prices seem exorbitant. Limited articulation. Maybe some day
After the morbius movie, I don't wanna see the character for a time
A character that no one cares about gets a figure much better than half of the other ones that Hasbro release.
That's pretty sad.
