Did you know that the word Larb actually comes from the old saying “Soak Larb”.? It means “fortune”. We also say “Soak Dee” to wish someone good luck. This video is so so deliciously done. If I have to choose 5 dishes, I would choose the same. 😍😍❤️👍👍 I am so jealous of you guys
Oh wow i didn’t know this! Thanks for the information! Yes those are my personal favorite too actually there’s a lot more it will be very long if I include all my favorite lao food 😁
sis, since you love laap, have you ever try the fish laap, it goes by a well know name of koy pa. koy pa, is one of my favorite, not sure if you would like it... different texture. see, another great video, as always! thank you! great list by the way!
I like your tee shirt where can I get the tee shirt ? Can I please have the link if they a selling. I am Laotian living ?in the United States 😊 I miss the authentic Lao food here in America 😩 thank you for all your videos!
I totally regretted not eating foods from street carts, a few years back. I took the kids to visit Laos, from deep South all the Way up to LB, but I was afraid of them getting sick from street foods, so I ended up eating from restaurants. Big mistake. They don't taste as good as street carts. I've always eaten from street vendors when travel to SEA, but after becoming a dad...I chickened out.
Hello there and thanks for your nice comment! I totally understand you, there’s also a lot of restos around LPB that is good as well. Street food are the extra goodness to add. If you come back to Luang Prabang you can try it again!
Very interesting presentation. Short and precise. Will be visiting LP soon. Will trace your footsteps and search for the food cart or location. Would have been great if the street are mentioned for locating the place.
The food that is said to be lap and ke is the food that Lao people like when celebrating the new year or other festivals. There will be these dishes in the meaning of Lao language.
Some of the food is not directly Lao food, but Lao people cook the food to have the uniqueness of the food in Laos. Thank you for recommending to everyone who knows.
Loves ❤ watching 👀your video and appreciate your 💘 love ❤and promotions of Lao Foods, Country and peoples. Thanks 😊🙏you from Lao in USA 🇺🇸America
