Man I’m just enjoying my 350 squat now. I see you coming up in my recommendations now and again and honestly some of your videos have some of the most impressive squats I’ve ever seen, and it’s keeping me motivated to get to even half of where you are. Thank you man
No problem, Joshua. I really appreciate the kind words. Hearing that I inspire or motivate other people is what makes posting these videos worth it. Keep killing it 👊
I stumbled apon your videos a few months ago and you are by far one of the best ATG squatters on TH-cam! Keep it up! You really are an inspiration for me to grow my squat and strength in general.
@ Damien Pezzuti your Uncle recorded my 300lbs front squat this past Sunday at a gym in Florida. I was on vacation in Sarasota, he asked me if i knew you after he recorded me. I told him yes i watch your videos on TH-cam, he said that's my nephew and im his uncle. I was so hyped up and we talked about your beast squats for a minute. Just wanted to let you know that your squats inspire me daily 💪 🏋
The pace, the form, the commitment. I don’t know why it took so long for you to appear on my feed! Yours are the best squats I’ve seen. Ballsy AND correct.
Someone already mentioned it but I also stumbled on your videos and you are without a doubt one of the best out there for this type of training. You inspire me bro, keep up the good work!
hey Damian, can you make a video on how to get your squat up/ talking about your squat progression and how long it took you to reach where you are today? your squat is insanely impressive, one of the strongest squatters ive seen.
I remember squatting 585 for a single the first time. Knee wraps, belt, and double canvas squat suit. Thought I was the man. Lol You’re a beast much respect. 👍
@@caleb1206 well I went on to hit a 601 with only wraps and a belt and a 804 with full gear. After injuries and getting old I can still rep out 405 for 12 reps these days at 44 years old I’m happy with that lol
Aye man nice lifts. Quick question did you try out/was playing for the Steelers back in the day I saw you had Steelers training camp in ur old vids. Btw keep up the great work I’m 15 and this motivates me to get better 👍
I did not tryout for the Steelers, sadly. I sure wish I could say that I did. I appreciate your kind words. Stay motivated and keep putting in that work 💪
I think squatting is one of the best things you can do for your back. I’ve never had any back issues from squatting. I don’t think people get back issues from squatting, I think they get them for other reasons, like poor technique and/or poor mobility to get into the proper position
I warmup very quickly to my top set. The only rest I take is however long it takes to load the bar. Once I get to my top set, I rest about 8-10 minutes

I'm now on 270 whit sleeves I'm not using belt at all for nothing but injuries and quad pain holds me down whit progress

10/10 this is fantastic 👏
He is nervous the bar surface looks knurled and ready to dive down but it keeps on forgetting that gravity has no effect on him
This is the best thing ive ever seen

@Damien Pezzuti i literally said that exact same thing to your Uncle, what a small world 🌎 No problem man, thanks for commenting back !
Damien deserves as much recognition as Clarence!!
Thank you, but I would never put myself in his company

That is very high praise, Michael. Thank you for that
Please Damien, could you give us more info about Bulgarian style training for powerlifting?
Just watching you hit these is inspirational.

That last rep was me with 145lbs for 12 💀 I almost died and people were looking at me but I powered through it
You’re strong 💪
Love watching you squat!! Absolute beast of a man! Are your calves built through squats, or do you train them separately?
Appreciate the kind words, Luke! My calves are built almost entirely through squatting with the exception of some jump rope tempo every now and then.
Loved it!
When are we getting an updated warmup and stretch video? I’ve been using your old stretch routine for years now and would love an update
This is fuckin epic. The guy is officially my favourite squatter

Damn bro. You are an asolute inspiration. Excuse my french but, fucking amazing.
It just blows my mind that much weight RAW at your b/w so much!
God tier squatting... this is gonna blow up man, you deserve it though. What's your number 1 squat tip bro? For funsies
I don’t know if it’ll blow up, but thank you. Number one tip would be to understand that squatting is the best accessory for squatting.
My guy casually repping my Max. Great sight to see and aspire to. Of course I could never achieve this since I weight less than 150.
Damn I wish there was a time frame for this but honestly it's f****** amazing either way

Well I'm a beginner and I can't go that deep even with 225 lbs, youre doing a great job
You have so much energy, do I need to work on my cardio for energy? I get tired easily these days
Damien's neck is becoming thick enough to have its own zip code at this point lol.
Goddamn tank in human form.
Damn, that is tough!
Hey I’m new to your channel, how did you decide base your channel around squats and deadlifts?
holy shit man this is inspiring
I appreciate that, thank you
So I must say: seeing someone squat highbar atg with lots of 45s rattling on the bar is just beautiful for my eyes and ears.
What program(s) do you follow or do to be able to squat that heavy weight in moderate to high reps?
i’ve seen you wear WSBB shirts in videos. Do you have a conjugate style training approach?
What are your warm ups before heavy lifts? your knees looks solid sleeveless
Is there any chance we can get some squat fails, would be interesting to see
Can you post a full warm up routine?
I say, greatest squatter ever.

Damien on the 725 you moved your grip out to the collars, did you find that better grip overall for you? Or were you just experimenting?
I was just experimenting with it and have since you returned to my older grip
Damien what’s your program like. I want to get into powerlifting.
Freak of nature! Do you do pause squats?
Do you do certain calf workouts or no?
God bless him he's as strong as an animal
Mr. Perfect!!!
Do you have a video on the sort of weekly pattern of squat/ benching that u do?
Not currently, no. Right now, I’m squatting and pulling 2x a week and benching 2x a week. I change it up quite a bit
Wow!!!!
How much do you squat for sets ifyou hit these high numbers on max?
Quads of steel

Damien, what are your thoughts on squatting and its associated back injuries many people face. Have you had any back troubles during your lifetime?

Damien are you still doing keto with refeed on fridays?
Bro I do not understand how you only have 19k subs
Imagine if he used belt and wraps
Probably wouldn't make much off a difference here, wraps would tho
I think you mean a belt and sleeves. If he did use them. It wouldn’t make much of a difference it would probably add 10 pounds maximum 15
Algun consejo para levantar mas peso en squats
I don’t mean to be disrespectful or rude...I have a serious question....are you taken any gear?
How much do you bench bro?
Name brand of his squats shoes?
How often do you squat?
Monolifts? What are those used for? lol Walking out that heavy ass weight on a monolift. Crazy!
How fast is your 40dash DP? You should be hitting atleast 4 6 or 4.5 with that leg strength. Maybe faster.
Any chance we can get some of your old content reuploaded? 👀
