Even though alot of these dudes don't hit depth, it's still outrageous that they can even get the bar off the rack and support it, let alone squat it. Major props
That amount of weight is almost impossible to squat at depth considering the isolation of muscles theyd blow out both their knees
@@anyfightinggamezfine69 except ray Williams
they squat the depth they need
Funny enough that they still go deeper than most people in the gym with almost no weight. People need to learn how to squat, that's one of the exercises that's done wrong the most.
@@pperoni7047 True
Vlad’s 525kg is insane...and he’s one of the few people who actually hits depth with knee wraps.
And a reconstructed knee
My best was for double 490*2 ! PR in the Gym 532.5 kg ! In 2018 before Arnold classic Australia
@@vladalhazov515 I was about to call bullshit until I saw the name. Haha.

Ray Williams squats is the most Impressive one
Man, those 4 spotters on the Ray Williams lift gave me anxiety.
You took the words right of of my mouth. Ray was clean, deep and controlled. I guess thats why he is a champion.
his explosion out of the bottom is second-to-none.
Ray is squatting under the strictest rules, out of all of these.
He's definitely got those Paul Anderson tree trunk thighs.
The squat is the true test of strength. Respect to all these guys. I'm squatting 165kg at the min and feels ridiculously heavy but I am only 76kg so I'm very proud of that
Well done. My best so far is 140kg at 90kg. My training has been quite lob-sided, so I hope to improve my squat drastically.
Even though I’m a calisthenics enthusiast, I pay my respects to these guys. Squatting those kind of weights is no joke.
Fair enough
Squatting a FRACTION of those weights is no joke.
@@michaelkent9583 exactly lol
Squatting that amount of weight and taking that amount of steroid dosage and the toll it takes on the health, the body and the spinal column ain't no joke either. Ask Ronnie Coleman
@@michaelbolden4144 true, but just because you take steroids does not mean you will become like these elite athletes. These guys are genetic freaks. Steroids just enhanced their genetic potential even more.
9:52 this dude is strong as fk .. look how deep he goes .. 1157 lbs going that deep .. shiii lol
Ray william is strongest
Bro typin this like he ab to buss or sum
sounds sus
Try moving half of that weight with ur 2pound ass first before judging them
@@zhogan_7115 smh closet homos get these thoughts .. no one's talking about that shit
460x2 ?? And I've never heard of that guy before wtf
Random strongman clip lol its Zahir dude 🔥
i know him for like 3 weeks as well xD
that dude was friend with kkk the deadlift monster
@Vinny Booboo konstantine konstantinov
Gore4ever FulciLives alright? No one asked
Ray Williams have the best depths also oak
The best depth is the on that gets a green light
@@jackhughman9450 exactly. You always get little kids saying “no depth haha” but the they still gets 3 whites. The judges no what there doing.
NOT squatting music!
8:18 - while impressive, there's no way that depth gets 3 white lights.
I can understand what you mean 💯
Baptiste? Yeah
There were a lot of high squats. When there is a record attempt, a lot of leniency is extended
@@craigstewart1532 - that shouldn't be the case if they want the record to be legitimate.
@@gordlawson11 Unfortunately it happens more frequently than you would think. You see touch and go benches, high squats and hitched deadlifts,
You know that you are strong when you need 5 spotters
Really y don't you try
5:15 and 8:30 props to him for even being able to move that weight but the fact that they passed that is the worst judging I may have ever seen. Shit-ton of red lights in this video.
that's the problem with multi-ply lifting. The squat suit assists so much at the bottom they actually *can't* hit depth. So they just tolerate that bullshit instead of toning down how much the suits can assist. This is why RAW and Single-ply lifting is far superior IMO.
@@blingeranvideos6568 saw the same thing at a meet where a bunch of the bench pressers got disqualified because the suits wouldn't let them bring the bar down to touch their chest
The squat was impressive to watch great video.
Always loved watching Malanichev lift, it’s so strange to see someone struggle more in a squat on the way down than on the way up. He’ll always be one of my favorite powerlifters and I’ll always be mad he got robbed by that misload, we’ll never know what numbers he could’ve hit
agreed!
These bars must be special-made. No way the bars in my gym can support this pressure.
I think so too
That guys spotting Kevin Oak with 775 on the bar wasn't gonna catch shit if he dropped that.
I'm not an expert so maybe i'm wrong, but there are straps on the side that should catch the weight or no? I always thought when that's the case, the spotters are just there to make sure it doesn't fall off to one side. Because yes, they obviously wont catch that kind of weight.
@@max5183 you are right. im not sure why Josh's comment. It obvious that the guys would not catch if he totally failed. The guys are there if he just not able to grind it/ if he fails while still keeping tension so that the guys AND kevin would be able to rerack the weight. If it's a total fail (injury for example) it would just drop on the ropes. I'm guessing that kevin didnt had enough spotter or enough strong spotter that day, and he did the safe think to do (to put safety bar/ropes) which a lot of athlete do not do.
Pretty sure Nathan Baptist clips at 4:35 and 8:18 are the same. Otherwise great video. Realy motivating.
Steinborn is the original way to squat. Can you imagine 100 years ago and people were squating with no sleeves, no wraps, not even a fucking rack, mad feat of strength
Or you just clean and press and squat lol
Well yes but then you'll always undertrain your squat. Your legs are massively stronger than your shoulders so you'll never press enough load to truly tax your legs.
Respect to everyone but licis and oak are the only ones I saw break parallel , I know everyone has an opinion but some of these lifts are just ridiculously high but best of luck to all.
Thor and ray williams was pretty good to
Vlad too
Some go deeper than others. Incredible leg strength.
When I squatted 300, it felt so heavy on my back. I can't even imagine 1000 pounds.
Feels the same as 300 feels heavy for you
250 and feel weak as shit
Not olympia squats, but anyone only taking those weights on his shoulders is a hero🏆
Zahir Khudayarov Azerbaycanın Fexri. Maşallah 🇦🇿🧿
a canadian did a back press record of 5300lbs. took him over 10 years of training to get that record, doubt it will ever be broken.
All these men.....are now my squat heroes
8:20 Unreal weight....but white lit? I've seen so many deeper lifts red lit.
agree horrible squat
Equipped lifting judges... smh
@@daniellien6704 yeah we get that by the where this is evidencing the world record will be just standing with the weight in the near future
Equipped lifting- where “below parallel” actually just means bend your knees
@@xinsanedefeatx xD so fucking true
5:05 That was white lit?
Welcome to equipped lifting my friend
cheating is allowed in equippted powerlifting ;D. its like crossfit but a bit heavier xD
It's hard to tell from the front angle, his quads will be absolutely massive and depth is judged from the hip crease. It doesn't look too bad imo
@@riovista1200 *100°+ less would be a really deep squat
I think equipped power lifting basically turned into a bit of a joke at a certain point unfortunately, and there were loads of lifts which were not legit.
Though I can't even unrack these weights you gotta admit, most of them didn't even hit depth. Except Kevin Oak, that guy squats some heavy ass weight with proper depth.
8:24 No way in h*ll this was 90 degrees...
Equipped lifting is a shit Show. Faking big weights with a Multi ply and not giving a damn about depth.
@@slamoto2 faking big weights? You can't fake weights but you can fake yourself
@@lazarushatchette3978 you can fake being stronger by using multiply tho. I would love to see his raw/wraps squats. But not this shit.
@@slamoto2 trueeee
@@lazarushatchette3978 There's a reason those guys in Multiply are no where when it comes to raw.
Overall Thor has shown the most insane strength when it comes to both deadlift 501kg and 440kg squat with the absolute max in range of motion. Plus he has competed in all major strongmen competitions and won a lot of them.
440kg is a warm up squat for half these guys.
I agree plus with his femur length it means he has to do It in 3rd gear. Short people have an enormous advantage with squats. Better being tall and powering through the distance with longer legs than short and hardly moving anywhere
These squats are insane! Some of the spotters scared me a little hahaha no way they would handle the bar if the squatter needed.
They probably would just need to give the bar a little help to save the squatter. They wouldn’t need to bear the whole brunt of the weight.
@@odom2142 yes! Most of the times that's enough.
I workout a lot and am going to be on my personal bodybuilding diet and workout routine soon. Im gonna be competing in bodybuilding competitions in the near future as well. I vow that one day, I'm gonna be as strong as these powerlifters 👊🏼
Vlad may take the WR, but Zahir is a beast! a man his size, going full range with all of those squats? Beyond human.
Zahir would be my hype man any time!
I've seen deeper puddles than Nathan Baptist squatting 562kg
That's what she said
Your comment is pure gold😋😋😋😋
Once he gets above 490 kg it's all BS
Carl Yngvar Christensen from Norway was world Champion in 2014 24 year old 490kg in squat. And he was drug free.He was tested all the time.
Tested doesn't mean drug free, hitting 300KG drug free is nearly impossible
@@cameronbrown540 lol 300kg is achievable natural for most of the people, 350+ would be a challenge
-And his deep squats were so sober and esthetic compared to many of the clips in this video-compilation.

ray williams FTW, can't believe how fast he gets out of the hole
Same with petras 992
WTF. 580 is insanely strong and all these people are insanely strong, wish I could be one of them

Can’t believe USAPL passed Rays depth on that squat, anytime I ever lifted in their meets they’d red light unless you buried it.
Several of them were pathetic. Seems like once they get over 1000 lbs they are not held to the same standard.
Absolute respect
2:47 Amazing leg strength....questionable depth?
its a training squat so depth isn't a priority as long as your close
Gordon Heaney Guitarologist and Flatulist this is 1000lbs we’re talking about

most of these guys cant hit depth (not to even talk about walking out the weight) and 580kg quarter squat with full gear was soooooo impresive
Belkin's 420kg at 104kg bw?
Great video. Would you please do a deadlift one as that would be great too.
Is on my list
This zahir guy is nuts
What about Carl Yngvar Christensen’s 490 kg squat??
Great Zercher, Kevin!!
You forgot Luke Richardson. He squated 403kg, RAW as a junior. Also achieved 1000kg total.
doug furnas was one of the greatest squatters of all time.
3:50 whatever happened to her
No Jezza (470kg raw/sleeves) or Reinhoudt who's raw 424kg was one of the finest squats I've ever seen, Blaine Sumners wrapped squats also where he gets very low/breaks parallel.
Amazing extrem squatts
9:58 my face when I go to the toilet and I cant shit myself
Can you include AMAN Singh hothi
He did 455 kg
Plss include if u like this squat
My knees are crying when watching this video 😀
Paul's backlift is not broken in the modern times

Looks like this Kevin channel😄He is the only one who is superfluous in this video.
My knees hurt watching this
Thor's ROM is fucking insane considering he's nearly 7 feet tall
he is 6''8
The only guys who never skipped leg day
Andrey Malanichev squat 440*3, 480*1, Vlad Alhazov 525*1
That's amazing. Have to ask but can the spotters really do much if all that weight falls
The best they can do is slow the crash so the lifter gets out
where is 580 kg? there maximum 562 kg on the video text
My goal in life is to be a beast like this. Already got a bit of a head start with great genetics for legs and heavy lifting runs in my family. Started out weightlifting with like a 200 lbs squat and 230 deadlift. Idk if that’s good or not for 14 but I’m 16 now and at only 25 pounds more weight on my deadlift and squat since I was slacking for some years. Now I’m taking it seriously and ima get to my goal in life of 800lbs squat
