元々2Lは激戦区だったのに、世界的にハイパワーが主流となり消えかけていた2L。
原点回帰というか歴史は繰り返すというか、また2Lに注目が集まって嬉しいです。
いずれにせよ、ＢＭＷの技術者さんは本当に良い走らせて楽しいクルマを造ってくれるよねぇ。( ´ ∀ `)
自分もユーズドで自慢する木はさらさらですけど、Ｆ30のディーゼルをもう３年程乗っています。
いままで、消耗部品で換えたのはHID前バルブのみで、後はトラブルが 一ヵ所も出ていないのが本当にここ10年でBMW本当に壊れにくくなったなぁと、思ってます。
オイルとOilフィルターだけは、一応正規寺の目安の約半分の8000キロごとに純正で交換しています。
任意保険もそこまで高くなく、街中オンリーで 13km/1 lなので案外一番リーズナブルなｾﾐミドルFrセダン🚗かもしれません。

Z4 did really well, didn't have a massive wing for downforce, is heavier by 30kg, top was down so it was worse for aerodynamics, chassis is less rigid because its a convertible and finally it didn't have an LSD.

I wish I understood Japanese, and that I lived in Japan, love the culture. But just found the channel seems I migh tlike this. Also the BMW Z4 is only a 2.0 in Japan? thats Heart breaking I have a Z4 myself but the older ones were 2.5, and then 3.0, and I believe some of the newer ones are up to 3.5, Mine is a 3.0 and i love mine.
Well, is your Z4 boosted like the Supra is?
The z4 also has the 3.0 in japan, many people just choose the 2.0L because they are taxed higher on larger displacement engines
newer one in its “M40i” form is a 3.0 turbo, same engine as the full fat supra
The bigger the displacement, the more you have to pay each year as you keep owning it, I think. I think it's insurance related?

I can appreciate this video. I run two F30 configurations, 3.0 liter and 2.0 liter; everything they said about the difference is spot on. My 2.0 liter is focused on footwork upgrades, the responsiveness and tuning the motor to utilize full power output for this kind of track is insanely fun. The 3.0 liter is engine focused, super fun too but you must be ultra focused about everything when driving it on a course like this.

You're not the only one, but the Yaris GR is more recent than the supra, and its production more slow and limited. So need to wait a bit before to see some fine tuned Yaris GR. 😉👍

I like how at the start they edited themselves near the cars because it was raining a little and they didn't want to get wet.
I always find it funny that the japanese especially these japanese legends don't made fun or made a fuzz about these supra and z4 based on a same basic, but it always the americans and europeans (especially them supra fanboys) that always mad about it.
No fuss, just objective experience with the right balance between tech/geek info, entertainment, excitement
I imagine the Japanese have a much different perception of the collaboration than the west does. They see it as a good effort to continue making the Supra and efficiently as possible. The west sees it more like Toyota being too lazy to spend their own money to make the Supra themselves.

Are you sure it's just fanboys? Because the only people I ever see getting pressed about it are the ones mad that people are speaking the truth 😂. The only thing Toyota on that car is the badge. It's 98% built by bmw on a z4 platforms. That's just what it is.

The BMWs dashboard is odd showing M1, M3, M3, M4 and M5 as it shifts into the next gear**
Cause they were using shift paddles in normal drive mode…dashboard loads up with S1, S2, etc when transmission is in sports mode. It’s a noticeable difference when doing these type of courses. Big surprise the tuners didn’t show the drivers this feature. Nor did they use launch control either…
Not seeing any shifting by hand made me fall asleep.

Edit: Wow if a simple ECU tune gives you 300 horses and it weighs 100 kilo less I really don't see any reason to go for the 6 cylindre except maybe the sound.
B58 in the 3cyl makes 420hp with just an ECU tune. Nearly 500hp with full bolt ons
