    Am a Parsi 67 yrs of age with an extremely constricted knowledge about cooking..I had seen you in a few Master Chef programmes..And suddenly came across ur cooking videos on u tube..You make cooking so easy and interesting..Open hearted and ever smiling that you are..I have started following ur recipies by seeing each video 10 10 times..And made them for the first time in dinner parties.. Successfully..
    Bhindi masala, Rogan josh, chole tikiya, radha patties..Nargisi kofte..
    Of course will polish off more with practice..
    U r simply grt and I have become ur ardent fan

    I was going through the comments.. Some people are very much interested in finding mistakes.. Roasted or shallow fried cauliflower, Samarkand is not in China, Preparation for UPSC etc etc . Guys please respect the person's efforts. He is a Renowned and A Master Chef. He has worked very hard to be at his best . Rather than commenting nonsense, You might want to focus and learn what he is trying to show and come up with queries if any.. Hi Ranveer, I have prepared Navaratan pulao with a Scented Rice called Govindbhog which is quite famous in Bengal and It Added an extra flavour to the preparation.. Thanks for this..

      Wo bhi galat 🤣🤣.
      According to mayrhofer the pulav n biriyani's origin was Deccan/ u may call Hyderabad now. Ironically mongol is known for no crop cultivation. Because of long winter n low precipitation there's no possibility to cultivate any crop on it. So how would they bring a rice dish 🤣🤣🤣. He further added the word birinj from persia came from Sanskrit word 'vrihi'. Pulav was very popular dish already, in the late 16th century. Where mugal dynasty was established in early mid 17s

    Was exhausted after a tiring day at work. Wanted to eat pulao and no food services are available. So watched your recipe on a loop. Cut whatever vegetables I could find, and imprpvised your recipe... ended up making "11 ratna pulao". My 90 year old grandmother, me and dad gobbled up the whole thing without even considering taking a pic. Thanks Ranveer!!! Absolutely loved it

    रणवीर जी।
    बहुत अच्छे सरल तरीके से सिखाये।बहुत खुशी हुई।एक तथाकथित कीमती व्यंजन सीखा ।आज एक भ्रम भी दूर हुआ।अब तो यह रेसिपी केवल नाम की बडी लग रही।पहले ध्यान ही नही दिया और देते भी कैसै लगता था यह बनाने वाले व्यक्ति या कोई ब्राँण्ड नेम है।जबकि सीधी सी बात सुनी इसमे नौ वस्तुए चाहिए जिसमे सब्जी भी गिन ली।और जरूरी भी नही कि वस्तुए संख्या मे नौ ही हो।कम भी हो सकती है ।
    लगता था पता नही कितनी कठिन प्रक्रिया से बनता होगा।वैसे खिला खिला बनाना सहज नही है।और प्रत्येक वस्तु अलग अलग शेलो फ्राय करना है।मेहनत तोहै।
    तो भी यह ज्यादा सब्जियों का एक तरह से फ्राइड राईस मात्र ही लग रहा है जो आपसे "तीन तडको" में सीखा ।
    जहां तक याद है करीब एक दशक से पुलाव और पांच साल के लगभग समय से बिरयानी ,जीरा राईस फेंसी नामों से चावल बडे आयोजनों मे बनने लगे ।और तबसे इनका प्रचार प्रसार ज्यादा होने लगा।हालांकि यह बहुत सादी सरल और पौष्टिक रोजाना की वस्तुओं से बने है।यह भी आपसे सुना सीखा समझा तब।
    विशेष यह लगा कि इसमे प्याज लहसुन नहीं डलता।कुछेक मसाले है गिनती के
    अर्थात कम स्पायसी,भी इतना सुंदर और स्वादिष्ट बन सकता है।
    हाँ!! एक बात उस तीखे "दसवें रत्न" की हमेशा याद रहेगी।रोज के भोजन मे तो डालते ही है।बच्चों के मान से भले ही थोडी कम।
    अब यह जरूर बनाएगे।बहुत धन्यवाद ।

    Recipies are good n there is no doubt about that but I was not aware of the fact that history behind food can be so interesting. Besides cooking you taught me how to present your story. Have seen many chefs and have tried a lot of recipies but believe me no one can teach cooking in such an interesting way. Your all time fan. You justify everything you do. Love to watch you cook.

    I made this the other day...but only added 7 ratans :-) coz my kiddo does not like walnuts n dates...n cooked in the pressure cooker with 1.5 cups of water and one whistle on high flame...n voila...it was delicious! Thank you chef for this wonderful recipe...

      To cock a proper Naan you need a tandoor, but their is one way to do so

      1st atta gund lo.
      2.chapatti bnao, thicker the usual
      3.take chapatti in hand and hath gilla karke halka sa roti ko. Gilla karo.
      4.gilli side ko garam tava par rakho and tava ko ulta karo or dry side ko direct agg se garam Karo.

      To give the smoky taste of over you can take a piece of hot coal in a small catory/bowl and then add ghee then, keep naan along with that goal under a lid for a min.

    Here is a constructive criticism.
    Muaf karna bhai, the camera is too much on the face of the chef. It should be 95% on food preparation. Since we can hear his voice, it’s okay to see his handsome face once in a while. Majority of the time please keep it on food. Pretty annoying not to see what’s being done with the food.

      Yes it is but only when the milk is totally evaporated and infused into the product. At this time citrus will not have any chemical impact on it. Hope your doubt is clear.😊
