I disagree with the IC title picture and Bron's booking. You guys have always said that feuds should be side quests on the way to chasing a title. That's Bron's story. He's young and talented, but he doesn't need the title now. Is he gonna hold it like Gunther? Does he just move on from there without really sinking into a story? Where go from there? No I like the idea that he was derailed from the title, which is still there as a looming prize, and now he's going to get shunted into a blood feud with Ilya. That could be an incredible series that gets both men credibility and TV time, without tying them up too much. Meanwhile, Gunther gets established. The IC title gets established. And things can start happening after that.
It's not the fact that he loss as much as it is who he loss to. Losing to someone like Gunther would've made much more sense. Having Sammy break Gunther's streak, a more over Chad Gable and then Bron Breakker has done absolutely nothing for the people involved. People were so tired of Sammy, they had to turn Gable heel just to give you a reason to cheer against him.
