Works well in India, You could activate esim immediately, for other phones get the sim in US get it activated and use it anywhere, activate roaming by 20 $ don't use data, it will work well.. you can call US no using local data and tello app, calls are free free, incoming calls will be roaming rates.. I don't attend incoming calls but I call them back using tello app.. u can receive all banl, and other sms.. what else u want for 8 dollars unlimited pack per month, with only 20 $ required to sustain v roaming
Hi James, although e-sims can be used worldwide, they almost always cannot actually be activated while abroad so its something the user has to be in the US for activation. I only say almost always cause I dont know tello well... however, I'm familiar with a vast number of esim providers and to have a US number.. in fact, all countries, when they're setting up the e-sim for the first time, activation must physically occur in the home base territory as is the same in the US. It may appear that you can go through the process as you're not actually overseas but its a requirement. I stand corrected if Tello is the only one who can do activation while the phone is overseas.
I use Tello and I love in Haiti and I can assure you it works , I have iMessage on it , I call and receive calls and I’ve never been to the us , I’ve activated it in my country

Big flaw in yhe video. Tello works only in usa. So if you are outside usa, tello wont even activate . Let me know if im missing something herr

My clients activate tello from abroad. But generally I agree with what you are saying.
