Hmm sometimes the coaches play favorites with who they promote. We had multiple ppl on my hs team and the coach only promoted our QB who was trash, but went to expensive ass pro camps. And our slot receiver, the receiver was nasty though. I played both sides of the ball and all special teams, won iron man every year I played and averaged 15+ tackles a game every year I played in high-school...didn't even have any tape. And that was just me, we had a bunch of other kids that's were just as skilled in their positions and no college even knew we existed outside of the 2 ppl the coach sent tapes out for. But the kid will get noticed, they said he's playing in a national game so he's gonna get noticed whether he wants to or not. Wish him well!

I don't understand why a receiver not being able to catch reflects poorly on the QB. I feel like a coach or scout or knows what they're doing would be able to see them individually
from what I gathered, scouts don't recognize him because his stats are poor. In particular - pass completion, which apparently is one of the most important for QBs. However if your receivers have macaroni fingers his completion rate would be deflated. This would lead to scouts seeing poor stats and disregard him without seeing him play (you got a point about "they could see his individual prowess" but they won't bother to go see him, if something doesn't grab their attention to make them go in person or at least seek tapes)

If he's throwing heat on those lasers, not a lot of players can catch those, even in the pros. Stafford is one that WRs talking about throwing heat on lasers. They drop the balls either because it hurts to catch or they can't close on it fast enough because it's coming in hot. Looks like this kid is throwing heat. I wonder if he pitched baseball. Some of the QBs who throw heat were pitchers
His range of motion while throwing is extremely long and takes a while to get the ball out, but that’s something a college coach can definitely fix. Need film of actual games where there’s pressure in his face

@@bluedog101c with no D1 recruits rushing him. As quarterbacks move on to the next level their throwing motion gets shorter because the rush gets faster. For example, look at Aaron Rodgers stance and throwing motion at Cal in college versus now. He damn near cut it in half and his play is dramatically better

Unfortunately, scouts miss out on these kinds of guys all the time. I do hope you're right tho. He's certainly a natural. Some of the shit he's doing in this video is extremely difficult to teach.
