Sounds like an issue with nervousness rather than memory Alan.
Have you graded each of the Regondi studies? It seems no. 4 might be intermediate. It also appears to be the easiest to play.
I think they're all grade 7/8 or above... 1 and 8 are very playable and lovely too.
