I just watched her yesterday here in Tallinn in guitar festival concert. She played Paganini, Tarrega and Castel nuovo tedesco. I have no words. It was sublime!!!
Beautiful!! What a talented guitarist, and so young, too. Thank you so much for finding Cristina and presenting her to us. I can hardly wait until the next video. I just ordered her CD so will have something to tide me over whilst I wait!!
You talk about virtuoso’s having “great hands and perfect nails” in your description, however Bream famously had self professed ‘clumsy fingers’ and struggled with his fragile/brittle nails his entire life. Kinda makes the sounds he got out of the instrument even more impressive and magical with that in mind. Very interesting interview and video!
Hi GB. Thanks for your comment. We will make it available to stream eventually, sometime in 2021 when a percentage of production costs have been met! The CD is a great product, better sound quality than streaming with extensive programme notes by Graham Wade. You can buy it here! www.timespanrecordings.co.uk/cristina-galietto---classical-guitar.html
Some really good Female British players now too ,Alexandra Whittinham and Rosie Bennett, those girls can play ...you mentioned elite players in description, who are todays elite ? Milos ? ? Marcin Dylla ? Anna vidovic? , was watching another young player last night, Xavier Jara ...seriously good , the standard is phenomenally high now it seems
@@davidjaggs yes David and every third person is making double top guitars. Hoping in the future you release a book about learning repertoire and technical aspects based for advanced players
great interview David , she is the real deal and being pretty will help her promotion ! , I do envy her skill , all the things you mentioned to be a great player i have none of them !! lol It is strange to hear you talking of great players as if they are out of your league ! If they are then not by much and if they are there is no hope for most of us watching here !!
There's always hope!! I just love playing and practicing. . I'm not looking over my shoulder at other guitarists anymore. I think that's important. Thanks for watching Alan.
@@davidjaggs it is easy to fall into trap of comparing yourself to good players in a negative sense , we all have something to offer i believe now but i do admire really good players (at times with that tinge of envy )
Some of us just love the tonality of the guitar, and just could never give up hearing those delightful tone. We are addicted ... for life. Nice to hear great players. They inspire us.
She could be an actress in Hollywood movies with her looks. Very talented!
Thanks for watching 👍
No, please stay away from the unworthy Hollywood you are way above, and keep going on with what we truly love.@@davidjaggs

It was nice to record her a few years back.
Cristina plays fantastically, clear, intelligent and with heart without superficial sentiment. And in a charming way modest. Good lock. Wulfin

Very interesting interview and video!
Thanks. Yes, I've always been amazed by Bream's finger tips, they seem to bend back at the 1st knuckle!
Quite a treat. And the guitar, really nice and nicely brought out.
Thanks Dave. More of Cristina to come on this channel!
This is very nice and will bring me pleasant thoughts when listening to the album, thank you.
Thanks Hollie. I haven't forgotten about your request.
wow she is incredible. Super technique and musicality
Thanks for watching. . More to come 😊
Nice❤
😊
Really like her playing 😊
Could anyone tell me the titles of the second and third pieces she played in this video ? They are very beautiful.
They are both from tres pieces espagnolas by Rodrigo. The second she plays is Zapateado and the third is Passacaglia.
Sei perfetta ! Vederti mentre stai suonando, sembrerebbe che la chitarra sia facile da suonare, ma non è così !
impressive playing
Thanks for watching
Talent and 5 hours a day practicing! That's how.
👍

Hi there. If you search for Roland Dyens, Chanson D'Ivoire played by Cristina Galietto you'll see full video.

That's right. Lots of talent around!
Wonderful Cri❤aleilamanutoni

Thanks for watching 👍😊
Italian, beautiful, talented...is she single lol? Seriously though she plays beautifully. Having a dad who is a pro must have helped though :)
Thanks for watching. . I don't know about her love life!!!😅
Lol Christina out here breaking hearts😂😂
But there seem to be an awful lot of talented beautiful female classical guitarists. It’s quite striking.
