Aw, that's true they were not trying to hurt each other. Both just insisting on taking the same spot! I'm glad the babies stayed out of their way though. They were so funny - at first I thougth Sweet Pea was trying to reclaim the babies Precious had been sitting on, but then it turned into a battle of wills between sisters! Siblings ey! Not too different from us humans sometimes!
Lol! Those lucky chicks! They sure do love to snuggle up to their mamas. I try to cup them in my hands sometimes when they are young, but they are never fooled! They want those warm fuzzy soft feathers 😂😂
The chick's looks so healthy and grown up quickly 😍🙌 and the mothers are now cooperating with each other, this is sweet and cute to watch .....Another thing how is defiance and the other chick...
Thansk Lilitha. They grow so fast! Defiance and her sibling are doing well, thank goodness. I am glad to say Defiance is growing stronger, and they both love to keep each other company. So cute!

Aha, a very hilarious and very demanding snuggle fest! On previous nights they seemed to settle with no drama at all. Sweet Pea just got it into her head that she wasnt happy anywhere but in Precious's spot that night! 😂😂
Thanks. We got lucky that all three (Mr Snuggles, Precious and Sweet Pea) all turned out so different and so pretty, even though their eggs all came from the same breeder.
All of my broody serama hens do this too. They will pile one on top of another into a small nest box and snuggle. I’ve sometimes had as many as nine in one nest box! Some have their heads completely covered by the others. You’d think they might not like this, but if I take them out and place them into another box, they will go right back. They seem to love together time. I have had a few serious squabbles where one got a bit violent with another (not murderous, just pecky). I’ve never seen any other breed of chicken do that, although they might sit side by side, there’s no squirming and snuggling like the serama sisters do. I think they just like having another around for extra protection. The more the merrier it seems.😊
Aw, thanks for sharing - it is interesting to know! The only other breed we've kept was silkies. When the silkies were pullets (though much bigger than the seramas already) they would all pile into one nestbox with our 3 serama hens at the time to sleep in a pile. it was SO hilarious! The sermas would totally disappear into the silkies' fluff. They loved it! It definately makes sense, given their size, that broody seramas like to have each other around for a sense of security! They are such cuties!

They are still cheeping though and such sweeties, even though serama grow so fast!

The most obvious way is that Squeak has more grey in her tail. Lulu's tail is more brown.
