  • Nigahiga had one of the most successful careers in TH-cam history, however, he hasn't uploaded a single video since April 2020. Why? This video will explore the disappearance of Ryan Higa, so we can understand why he very suddenly quit making youtube videos.
This is, Why Nigahiga Quit TH-cam - A Full Explanation
Thank you guys for watching, like and sub if you enjoyed, SunnyV2
Also, the idea for this video was inspired by sirsurgenor who posted a video on a similar topic in September 2022 titled "Why nigahiga Quit TH-cam" You can watch their version here - • Why nigahiga Quit TH-cam

Ryan quit TH-cam the right way. No huge controversy. No overdramatic drawn out goodbye. Just slowed down his content to ease his fans into it. Truly a legend of TH-cam!

Unlike most TH-camrs who make a whole hour long goodbye video when leaving TH-cam, Ryan decided to leave TH-cam slowly, making less & less videos overtime till he no longer wanted to continue making content. Easing his fans into accepting his departure of the platform instead of a sudden goodbye video. Its sad that he’s left but I’m proud of him.

He was the only influencer/youtuber/celebrity I adored so much that I went as far as actually getting his merch just so that I could support him. Stuff like this makes me sad. You take a genuine guy who makes content and you grow up watching someone like this grow and blow up on the internet and we all enjoy it. Then as you get older, they get older and they either thrive or fall. I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed watching Ryan higa when I was a kid and when he stopped uploading a couple years ago, I just wondered where he went or if he’d ever come back. It’s worse when they say they don’t enjoy this life anymore. I just hope whatever he’s doing, he’s doing alright and he’s seeking something better for himself

I never watched him, but he is a staple and an icon in TH-cam and internet history. He’s been here since the start ad had a huge impact on the culture. Everyone loves dude, and I hope he finds purpose (because it seems like he’s kinda lost with where to take his life since he already made it huge). Prime example of how money and success doesn’t bring happiness. You need to be content with who you are and stay true to your values. Be open and try to connect with people. Keep yourself busy with different types of work or activities with different people around you to offer perspectives. These are the things that bring joy. Not saying he didn’t do that, but just speaking in general. Do what you wanna do in life. Don’t fall into a trap of a dreadful routine.

Ryan was one of the most popular, and beloved TH-camrs. He deserves to step away and do whatever makes him happy. I’d be lying if I said I didn’t miss the time when nigahiga, smosh, Jenna marbles, and pewdiepie were in their prime, but mostly because that was when I was a kid so I just have nostalgia behind it. We’re all just getting older which is fine, it’s good to put things down and start new chapters.

I just hope he's doing better without feeling the pressure of feeling forced to do something he no longer enjoys. The mental battles someone face has nothing to do with their status or wealth, rich or poor life can beat you to the ground and keep you there. It wasn't hard to see from these clips that he's been through enough. I think it hit me extra hard to see someone I grew up watching and been such an inspiration put words to things I can relate so strongly to despite being entirely different from him. I'm just a normal guy with a beautiful girlfriend and a baby that is due in 2 weeks, but I've also struggled with mental health issues for over a decade and just woke up now and watched this video after another night of intense nightmares. Not really sure why I'm typing this long comment, but this video and hearing this story really touched me and if you random person wherever you are on the planet read it, thank you.

It's sad seeing all the "og" youtubers get so burnt out and leaving since guys like Ryan were my childhood - early adult years. It was incredible to see Ryan Higa's videos go from grainy "How to be" videos to the crazy high production of stop motion and "movie trailers" over the years, on top of the more chill behind the scenes and Dare videos over the years. I'm glad he managed to get out on a high note and seems to be content with streaming now. I do hope he makes a come back one day but if he doesn't, I hope he's happy whatever he's doing.
