He really was a marvel, a 7'1 mountain of muscle. There is nothing comparable in the league today to be frank. The crazy part is that I don't think he was the best center in the league at any point of his career.... It's crazy how stacked the 90s to early 2000s bigs were. He would absolutely dominate the league today.

David was amazing in the early 90’s. Unfortunately he is judged off of one bad series getting smoked by Hakeem and getting dunked on by Shaq in the all star game but the reality was prior to his back injury David was killing Hakeem and Shaq on the regular. Sneed speaking facts. Five -O was the most athletic 7 footer in NBA history. Maybe not the highest leaper but when it comes running the floor and quickness getting off the floor, second jumps , ability to cover ground in a split second . Yeah Prime DRob was something different. Just go watch any of his highlights from 89 -96.
Plus he could walk on his hands tbe length of the court and also has the biggest growth in NBA history. But the dude was also a legit caring mofo.
He put as much money and time into the community as anyone I’ve seen. He built a school from scratch FFS. Everyone was wetting themselves over Wemby Rookie stats and for good reason. But DRob rookie stats were 24 , 12, 3.9 blocks. And that’s after sitting out not playing for two years because of the NAVY. Nice work Sheed giving sone props to the Man. Admiral probably had about the same vertical as prime Dwight. He was pretty much Giannis of the '90s. He might have even been better than Giannis. He was taller, weighed more, and had a better jumper, but Giannis has better playmaking skills. Other than that, they're probably about even. David belongs in a class all his own, no doubt, no disrespect, but I didn’t have to lace up against either to recognize that Wilt is the most athletic 5 ever, bar none, and maybe arguably the most athletic player ever, period. Think LeBron James, supersized. MJ isn’t better Than wilt. Nothing beats a dominant 7 footer in the game of basketball. MJ is only the GOAT if you eliminate big men.

Why didn't they win the championship in '62, when Wilt had his incredibly overblown 100 pt game and 50.4 ppg average? I mean Wilt had FOUR HOFers (Arizin, Attles, Gola, and Rodgers) on his team that year, yet the Celtics and Wilt's main nemesis Russell, who was 3" shorter than Chamberlain, still beat his ass.

Not one series did Russell outplay wilt. Why did he not carry them deep every year? Why didn’t MJ. You realize the bulls lost in the first rd right? You don’t get to hide behind team success. What specifically does MJ do better? Wilts 76ers weee the only team of the 90s to beat that Boston team. 4 HOFers? Boston had more. Less teams means each team had multiple HOFers. Bill Russell literally had the best coach of all time, one of the most clutch shooters of all time, the 2nd best og if that era and top 10 pg if all time, the 2nd best sf if that era and top 10 all time, along with many other HOFers. Russell is another player who is also better than MJ. Hondo stealing the ball or jones hitting a gw or wilts coach not letting him back in isn’t Russell beating him. 4 game 7s were decided by 9 pts. "Why didn’t MJ. You realize the bulls lost in the first rd right?"
Enlighten us, who were the four HOFers that MJ had on his team when he lost in the first round? Oh wait, that's right, not only did he have ZERO HOFers on his squad, the team that beat him had _five_ HOFers on THEIR squad. You gonna step to an OGenXer you better come correct, Z.
"What specifically does MJ do better?"
SCORE, ffs! MJ FACTUALLY is the greatest scorer in NBA history. Are you really this bereft of b-ball knowledge that you don't know this? 'Cause if so, then that would explain why your rebuttals are so WEAK.
      "Boston had more."
Doesn't matter that Boston had more. If your boy is the alleged GOAT then 4 HOFers should be *more than enough* to get it done. Especially when the guy you're comparing him to, MJ, only had 2 HOFers yet won 3x as many rings.
"Russell is another player who is also better than MJ."
Both Russell and MJ were all-time great defenders, difference is Bill was at best an average scorer with his mediocre 15 ppg while MJ averaged DOUBLE THAT. There's no comparison.

Wait, what kind of coach doesn't want his _supposed_ "GOAT" player in the game during the crucial moments? Ain't no game EVER in which Michael's coaches didn't want him on the floor. Smmfh. Your own comments are exposin' that Wilt is NOT the GOAT.
