2016 was great year for FPS games (DOOM, Deus Ex 4, Killing Floor 2) and you only remember a single one, Battlefield normies call themselfs "FPS gods" lmao.
6:20 i found that in Enlisted, the latest you can open your parachute without dying is at about 250m from the ground. any later and youll die, but any sooner and youll spend a non-negligible amount of time just floating in the air as an easy target.
Here's the secret for optimal paradrops: when the supply box parachute opens, count 3 seconds. By the count of 3 the box will visibly slow down. That's your cue to open your own chute.
Literally ALL it should've been was Battlefield One copy and pasted into a WW2 setting, maybe with slightly toned down bullet deviation. They had pure lightning in a bottle with BF1 in most every aspect, to this day 9 years later with almost 2,000hrs of play time I still go "wow that was ****ing crazy," or "that was basically straight out of a movie." Battlefield games were never "realistic" in an Arma or Squad sense, but they were arguably the most immersive and cinematic war games ever created, and easily some of the funnest and most satisfying with the destruction, vehicles, and hard hitting-super loud-weaponry. Had BFV been BF1 in WW2, with Premium / paid DLC so we'd get 16 (or more) maps with different theaters of war, and tons of guns and new vehicles and extra goodies like BFBC2 / BF3 / BF4 / BF1 (and even Hardline), with the same dedication to authenticity and history and general militaria; it would likely be one of the most played games to this day and probably the last great 'AAA war game' made.
@SerbianLifter997 People make comments like this as if Battlefield was some massively competitive E-Sports Counter Strike esque game with a tedious-lame-meta. Ever since Bad Company 1, BF was literally always a casual-console game that prioritized fun and entertainment. Especially with Project Reality, I played hundreds and hundreds of hours of BF2 and loved 1942 / 1943, but even I concede the Frostbite titles (up until Hardline) were leaps and bounds better with only some exceptions. BF1 was irrefutably the natural evolution of BFBC/BF3/BF4, the same weighty-cinematic and immersive gameplay was there, with even more intense and organic destruction, incredibly powerful vehicles (in the right hands), and lots of guns that were viable (in the right hands).

Ship it out buggy and full of game breaking errors and have the community b**ch and complain every problem and iron out with patches post launch. The hype will almost always never carry the actual gameplay. It just isn't fun if you have to either grind forever or buy your way into the fun parts.

It would be nice if all game titles, mods, systems you play(ed) on, etc. would be mentioned. I haven't really been paying Multiplayer-(First-Person)-Shooter for years. I am an older guy who isn't anywhere up to date. I loved some games like the old Counter Srike, COD1, 2 and Modern Warfare back then on PC in Multiplayer, later on Left 4 Dead 1 & 2 with Mods and especially The Division 1, although I also invested much time in The Division 2 which in my opinion never was as good as TD1 has been later on. I played TD1 & 2 on PS4 and the rest on PC. Honorable mentions are: The old Star Wars Battlefront 1 & 2 on PC and the newer one(s) on PS4. I also tried games like PUBG (PS4), Battlefield 4 & 1 (PS4) and some others and especially would be interested in some really good Military Multiplayer Shooters in a WW2 or modern setting (- not too much futuristic) but I am really overwhelmed by all those games that are around. Battlefied 4 and 1 I got on budget when after a few years had passed and I had no chance against the opponents. Maybe I am just too old and should better play slower paced older tactical shooters like Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 1 & 2, or SWAT 3 and 4 as I liked those games. But I also want a bit more modern graphics. And I love the option of destroyable environments (- especially if they are included so it makes sense from a tactical point of view... - sadly I missed the Battlefield Bad Company Games which were said to really be good.). So I would need some hints where to begin with. You are welcome.

Yep , with practice you can almost always perfect parachute with no to minmal damage and without being a target
