Note: FS 2017 is not a new game. With this title I mean a combination of effects, addons and other things (added to Prepar3D v3.4) that make this video seem more real. P3D v3.4 is a new Flight Simulator released late 2016.

I live in Mexico City, and my house has a perfect view of the approaching route used when entering the city.
Of course I'd like to hear the clearance delivery, ground , tower, departure, etc. If that can be done. I'm sure your aware that airports can have a ground stop if a thunderstorm is bad enough close to the airport. Been though a few of them. And sometimes just waiting out a storm to pass by the airport by circling around a set pattern.

hello dude, well the aproach to México City Its wrong, i live in México City and i hace never seen before that aproach, the real aproach is from the North trough the city till arrive to the Chapultepec forest (heading 160° VOR Mateo) and then turn, left heading the runway, really that aproach does not exist

Eng mode selector should have been kept on IGN for T/O
Actually Airbus SOP's keep the Engine mode selector in the "Normal" mode
OK I guess there is slight differences between SOPs for different airlines catered to that particular airline. Ours say we should put it on IGN in heavy rain.

Azam Khan Yes, that depends on operator aswell as engine type, but most airlines keep it on norm thesedays because ign norm(auto) keeps the engines igniteed countinosly anyway, up to the point where you pull your thrustlevers back from t/o thrust, then it will reset itself to normal

This isn't a "new 2017 simulation", its P3D with FS2crew add-on, Ground Services X add-on and Aerosoft's Airbus A319 add-on. All payware, P3D and the 3 add-ons alone are like 200 bucks

floortiegames I highly doubt it since there isn't any good Airbus A380 aircraft for flight sim yet
I highly doubt there ever will be. None are in production currently and it takes a long time to make a good fsx addon.

Good! Which Airbus X version are you using? (because of cockpit voices. I am bored of old ones)? Little advice on more or less how I would do that takeoff...
If you are heavy with cargo or fuel, especially in this kind of situation (weather - night flying), maintain at least 3000-5000ft before retracting flaps to zero. Do not retract them immediately after TakeOff.
You can turn autopilot ON after, so you can feel the airplane behavior. It is useful later when you start landing procedure and you will know how plane is "feeling" in your hand. I would fly "manually", on stick, all that way with that left turn (bank/slope) after takeoff, with Flight Director on, and then I will turn ON autopilot. I see that you have calm situation in the air, because of pressure. 1013Qnh (HPa) is ideal for flying. (2992)
I love Airbus, and I always fly with Airbus A319/20/21, but now, I am considering Boeing, because you have a lot more to do by yourself :) Aaaand happy future flights ;) Try approaching on LYTV... Best route is from LYBE to LYTV (Belgrade (serbia) to Tivat (montenegro). ..Ex Yugoslavia). Tivat or LYTV have challenging approaches, and also beautiful approach over the sea. See TH-cam videos for LYTV approach, real videos and simulator videos. Just Great. Nice flying, once again! Cheers... Or try approach to LIRF (Rome, Fiumincino) Italy.

N1 and N2 doesn't represent engine one and engine 2. Its a reading from the LPC (N1) and the HPC (N2).

Was the rotate speed incorrect? Did you mess something up on the planner? When he called rotate you had to wait and you still had trouble climbing on takeoff roll with all that speed! I'm just wondering. Cool vid 👍👍👍

Very realistic game but it could be even more real if the airline over booked your plane forcing you to drag screaming passengers off the plane.
This sim needs some wingflex. If it already has it, *it needs more*. Those wingtips should be bouncing up and down.
