Yum! I love that kind of dish. My mother called it goulash and used long spaghetti pasta. After mixing, she would put the mixture in a 9"x 13" casserole, top with cheese, and bake until the cheese melted. Sometimes, she would add sliced mushrooms. It was always good. I rarely make it anymore, but you've inspired me to make another pan. Thanks, Jenny!

Alaska?! Oof! I imagine it's cold now. I had a couple of co-workers (who were a couple) move there. They mentioned it was kind of difficult to get used to the times when it was all dark all the time. Do you experience that? I hope you have lots of delicious foods to help comfort you and keep you warm! ☺
@@Denymarie123 Did you grow up there? I was thinking that you get used to what you grow up with and it is what it is. That's nice that you are able to get away in the winter to someplace warm. Am I remembering correctly that you said you were going to Hawaii? I spent my honeymoon there. We wanted to do an Alaskan cruise and see the whales migrate but the travel agency kind of messed things up so we ended up just going to Hawaii. Had a fantastic time there which was good. Someday it would still be neat to take that Alaskan cruise. And even living here, my parents always went to Florida in February to get out of the dull grayness and get some sunshine. 😄
@ we’ve been in Alaska for 43 years. Yes we go to Hawaii and will go again this year. It’s like our second home. We love it. I’m actually from LaCrosse WI and my husband from Texas. The Alaska cruise is a great way to see part of Alaska. We love it here, even with the winter darkness. The summers are fabulous!!

@ Thanks Jenny, kinda sad that you’re so far away! I have no Italian in my family but I believe I do an awesome Puttanesca (lol .. depends on your tastes and if you Iike olives. I have an excellent recipe I got off TV that everyone gets cited just by the smell. If you like I can post the recipe next time … it’s great to see you doing normal things, I’m pretty much bed bound.. and of course looks yum 🙏🏻😋
@@LM-ed1op I'm sorry you're bed bound. Hopefully you can get up and move around a little each day. It's been cold here so I haven't taken a walk outside. We've been putting our Christmas decorations up inside, so I'm moving around doing that. Had some tears flow yesterday just being grateful that I can do Christmas stuff this year. Sending healing energy your way. 💜🙏

@ you get use to it. We leave for a couple weeks in January and go somewhere warm. I love the summers here. So much to do and all the daylight!!
