Yes! Yummy! Do you make your own mashed potatoes? If you do, do you add milk or broth? My girlfriend used to use broth. I've only used milk as that's how my family made them. ☺
Oh, this looks delicious! Seems great - I've gotta try it for myself now, lol. Don't think I've said this before but love the illustrations of the recipes during the beginning of each recipe video! Awesome work and God bless!
Years ago, before turning carnivore, Thanksgiving was my fav day because i went all out on recipes. I always threw a big bash with friends and they loved it. My fav dish was a knockout oyster dressing, using more fresh oysters than anything else, but of course because I lived in Annapolis, MD. This year I will smoke a duck and have a drink! Wish me luck, hahahaha. I feel like your last few videos that you were really going through a lot of emotions. I guess anniversaries will do that. Sorry I didn't comment at that time. When you showed a quick shot of your abdomen (pre surgery) it really knocked me for a loop as you really triggered past memories for me because of my Traumatic Brain Injury. After a year of intense therapy et al, a friend told me that I would never be the person I was, no matter how hard I worked at it. That just made me work harder at finding myself again. Years later I finally accepted that raw, painful truth and set out to find the new me. What a helluva journey it's been. So my dear friend, I feel/felt your heart and can tell you that there is light at the end of the tunnel. Just reach for it, reach harder than you ever have, then grab onto that light and pull it into your soul, into the very core of your being. Feel my arms around you, giving you a great big hug. In light and love!!! Be healthy, stay safe and many blessings, Morgan.
Morgan, I bet your dinners were wonderful! So many tasty foods to make and try. I have never had duck. My dad used to eat it once in awhile. I hope you enjoy your meal! And yeah, it's been an emotional few weeks. I can't even imagine what you went through. I can see you being a person who would really work hard to get better. I'm glad you've been able to accept your new you and live your best life as you now. Thank you so much for the very big hug. I'm doing my best, too. I hope you also stay healthy and are doing well. 💜
Hi Jenny 👋♥️ It looks so pretty ♥️. I have to avoid recipes with peanuts and tree nuts, my youngest has a nut allergy. I use things, like pretzels for the crunch 😉 My favorite Thanksgiving dishes, are green been casserole and stuffing 😊 Love your videos!!! Julieann
That looks very yummy!! 😊 Very pretty, indeed!! It has a great presentation for a holiday table, too! My favorite sides would be....sweet potatoes and accorn squash!! It's been 3 years since I had covid, and I still don't have my taste or smell back. Nothing is as it should be anymore. I Can taste chocolate! Crazy isn't it. Why chocolate and nothing else? I wish I knew that answer. 😒 Thank you for sharing, Jenny! Take care.😊❤
Interesting. I like acorn squash but have never had it at Thanksgiving. How terrible to not be able to taste! I hope that goes away for you soon seeing as it's already been so long. ☺
@jenny_rice I sure miss the sense of taste and smell. My doctor said it will never come back because it has been almost 3 years. If I could only have one back, I would actually pick the sense of smell. It can save your life. Fire, gas, meat that has turned bad...I am relieved my condo here is all electric. The house I just sold was heated by gas, and I worried about not being able to smell if there were a gas leak. No more worries about a gas leaks now. 😊
@@PamMorris-w1y Oh my goodness. Interesting that they think it will never come back. I hope they're wrong. I can understand how sad that is not to be able to smell. I'm glad you feel safe living where you do now. 💜
Well this was a very interesting recipe for me to try. I can hardly wait! 💜💜
I hope you like it! ☺
Favorite turkey & mash potatos!! Love cranberry sauce made from real cranberries!!! I may try this dish.

Ohh, what a neat substitution. And green beans are so good, too. I am not a stuffing person but so may people are! ☺
