The most underrated quarterback in history. Think of the pressure he had, he had to live in his brother's shadow, he had to play in New York which is the largest sports market in the country AND he had to deal with the fans and the media, more than half of his games were potentially in cold bad weather and through all of that he won 2 Super Bowls, 2 Super Bowl MVP's and he did it against the greatest quarterback of all time....TWICE!

@@ArizonaGunsDave Underrated? At 117-117? Had a top 10 passer rating once in 16 years. In 14 other years, never won a single playoff game. Never beat a single playoff team that scored just the NFL average of 21 point. Never led in any QB stat other than interceptions (x3). And his 27 in 2013 was the 3rd most of the last 20 years. Never a league MVP because that takes an entire season and not just one game handed to him by the defense. Never an all pro, not even second string.
If anything is is one of the most overrated QBs in NFL history.

the 2011 NFC Championship Game is the one that ppl will show when they ask about Eli Manning. that 49ers defense and pass rush was legit and Eli was sacked 6 times in that game. 0 turnovers and over 300 yards passing, 2 TDs and the Giants won in OT. His toughness was never doubted, his composure was never questioned, and his leadership never wavered.

4:55 Peyton only faced San Francisco 4 times (1998, 2001, 2005 and 2009) prior to Eli's NFC Championship match-up vs the 49ers, and yet he had the book on some their tendencies, which he used to help Eli and the Giants win the game. Astounding, the depth of knowledge that Peyton had to draw upon. Meanwhile, you had other starting QBs who didn't even know a game could finish in a tie.

While I'm sure he would've loved the chance to play in the post-season and maybe even get a shot at a Super Bowl, I have to think that seeing his sons win consecutive Super Bowl MVP awards more than made up for any disappointments he had in his career. So Archie now owns one of the most unbreakable records in all of sports. Nobody's gonna have THREE sons that go on to win SB MVPs any time soon.

Yup….. I missed judge Eli…. what a freaking mad man of a machine. (I didn’t get into football until 2016 as a cowboys fan) so I didn’t see Eli Manning in his hay day so glad I saw a lot of videos about him. This Guy deserves the 1st HOF ballot vote.

Showed up, did his job, didn't get in trouble with extracurricular stuff, 2 super bowls... I was NEVER a giants fan, but what else can you ask for? Game to game professional. Never any question if Eli was playing.

Polar opposites as most brothers tend to be. Until Peyton won, he was the best "regular season" QB of all time. Eli... not so much. Peyton post-season choker. Eli post-season legend! Eli will forever OWN Tom Brady.

He couldn’t handle playing for the chargers which is the team that drafted him

Eli manning is a great litmus test for someone’s football knowledge. He is a HOF lock, if you disagree you know nothing about football 🤷‍♂️

Apologies to Simms, and all the past great Giants QB's. Eli, to me and I'm sure to many others, is the greatest Giants QB ever. For now. jmo folks.

Eli is definitely 1st ballot HOF. The only QB ever that can talk shit to Tom Brady. You can look at Foles, but he didn't have a good career and you can chalk his run up to luck/everything going his way.

Imagine if Eli hadn't played those last 2-3 years where the Giants were soooo stagnant.....I think there is def something to be said about going out on a high note but ..dude just loved playing footballs so much so it's cool 😎

Eli Just had that younger brother mentality Like getting beat up all the time but not complaining and just getting up and fighting back... Like those are his most famous moments getting just mald and like getting up or fighting out of it like the helmet catch... You can't say that about brady or Peyton... I can't really think of anybody who got hit that much and still played that much And one more than one super bowl that's for sure

I think Eli was more of a gunslinger than Peyton. Peyton had more talent and his preparation was incredible and he was better than Eli, but Eli had that gunslinger take more risk than Peyton. I see more of Archie in Eli than I do Peyton.

How proud are their parents. I think the 2007 Giants team was the best of all time team in beating the odds. No body gave them a chance and I remember analyst saying they didn't belong in the super bowl and that they will be crushed by the undefeated Patriots. Lots of people lost money on that super bowl.

Hey Eli you remember when you beat Tom Brady’s Patriots in the Super Bowl not once but twice? That was awesome!😂-Horseshoe fan

Peyton never tells Eli about that coverage and we win that game 17-13.
