- Several major rivers, long seen as a lifeline for Bangladesh's capital Dhaka, are now considered biologically dead.
Pollution and untreated waste are being blamed for the change - that is now threatening the livelihoods of millions of people.
Al Jazeera’s Tanvir Chowdhury reports from Dhaka, Bangladesh.
