Your videos are really informative and inspiring gents. Thanks for this channel. Having the extra design tips around avoiding bare patches when something is dormant is a welcome bonus. I'll echo the question about the gorgeous yellow stemmed plant behind the Ferula. Is that one of your bamboos?
you guys are cute and funny and good at making simple things entertaining, thanks ! p.s. I have been eating my amaranth flowers, sprinkled on salad etc.. I did some research and found that there is a tea made with the flowers, so I felt they were safe to eat as well.
It was also used in the construction if the Thyrsus staff, used by the Maenads in their ecstatic and intoxicated rituals in the worship of Dionysus…it’s mentioned in “The Bacchae” play by Euripides.
Question for you, I have a ferula which I planted four months ago (March), the Ferula has completed disappeared, will it come back, I live in Cornwall England 🏴, hope you do not mind me asking, enjoying watching you both.

Oh thank you so very much! You guys are awesome 👌
I love that color. It’ll be striking in winter. Color and foliage texture are a bit like Cosmos.
Thanks for watching!

Can’t wait to have our own ritual to Dionysus! You don’t happen to have the date? Regards Stephen

It should come back in winter sometime as long as it was big enough to go into a dormancy after planting.
Is it just flowers or does it have the resin that gets used for cooking ?
Only ornamental. Regards Stephen
Yes good
