For someone like myself who actually races and does various motorsports it looks like the aggressive movement should feel about right. Fast cars hurt, beat you up, it's part of the fun. I hope you're able to sell/ship soon. Found the sim I want!
my exact observation aswell, I've never done any racing, would be awful at it but this is what I imagine, thourough-bread race cars would be like, they should hammer the driver and brutalise him/her I was thinking as well of LMP1 cars around le mans for hours at a time, you should be shattered after that and need rest and it looks like this rig would simulate that, really looking foward to console support, my Veyron on FM7 down the bumpy public road known as the mulsanne straight or the Corkscrew of lugana seca in an v8 supercar :D
I don't like the drop of the nose on gear shifts.. maybe and off road truck with light front springs has that much. Maybe shock absorbers between the front pedestal and seat frame would slow it down a tad. Or an adjustable rebound/compression one. Other than that I love the rotating feature.
The gear shifting looks too agressive with Occulus in the BMW... as the seat moves a lot when shifting the head moves a lot as well. With the Lotus it seems to be awesome
I understood. Did you think about sell project and software,Something DYS, specifications, parts, manuals, all digital format? Your concept is really nice !! but for some countries is not easy to send, because shipping coast and taxes. It is just and Idea . I'm thinking how I able to have this simulator here in Brasil. Great idea ! congrats !
Washout! "To avoid the cables getting stuck in the simulator we’re limiting the rotation to 360degrees maximum, when it’s at its max the platform will simply just stop rotating. When you stop turning in game the washout kicks in, the platform will slowly but unnoticed move towards POS 0. The 360degree limit should not be a problem, unless you’re making donuts etc." Quote from here: fasetech.com/technical-info/
FaseTech rotary speakers use a special connector for continuous rotation. Not sure if that could be applied here. Allen gyrophonic organ speakers used them dating back to the 1940s.
Me thinks the forward/backward motion should be eliminated or atleast dampened on the OR in the F1 car. I don't think the helmet would be going back through the seat like that in real life ;) Looks great though! Wish I could afford one.
and pls tell me , the difference from the RC3-z3: 3DOF to RC3-x3: 3DOF is just because one has seat and other hasn't ? if they are the same, how much would cost to ship RC3-x3: 3DOF to US ZIP 30076 and how long it takes from now ? tks.
+Murilo Parra Yes, You can see all available options in the Kickstarter link in the description on the video. All packages comes with software which supports the listed games on out website.
+Subparanon he was actually driving an old F1 Lotus and a 2006 F1 BMW, both on which the only use for the clutch is N->1. As for automatic shifting, it is a showcase video to promote their product, not a realistic simulation gameplay.
It's unrealistic that the movement of the platform is transfered into the picture on the rift. You shouldn't see these movements with simulated g-forces.
Mad Marty have you been in an F1 car to substantiate that? I think this being a simulator it's a good compromise. also, as anything it is adjustable. Why does everything have to be either end of extremes?
It's enough to sit in a normal car to substatiante that. The problem is that in VR little things might throw you out off the VR world and even might make you feel sick. With a little bit of programming you can improve these things so it doesn't happen.
you gotta be kidding me, that's the future of sim racing, right there...

im very excited about this product the fact that it will ve much cheap when can we all exspect a release date
This looks sooo good. I love the way it kicks during acceleration. Please price it so i can afford. :)
Next, we need a massive fan/s that would simulate the wind blowing on your face, especially when playing open wheel games. Imagine that + VR, damn.
Anton Amirwandi -
it exists already.
look it up 😃
We have that now =)
When you're able to simulate G-force, it'll be game over.
Wow about time a company made a real driving simulator, awesome guys this is outstanding 😊
Круто, мне понравилось, видно что пилот не хочет врезаться, думаю что при аварии, полные штаны обеспечены
very sad this didnt make it
This looked so promising... Is the project dead since the KS failed or did you guys had a plan B?
They have a stationary rig now it seems

I bet that looks fun I wish I had one
este es mejor que he visto hasta el momento , y eso que he visto muchos que probrablemente sean mas caros , cuanto costara este?

I want this sooo much !
great concept !
Amazing rig amazing rig amzing rig ....
You'll find it on : www.kickstarter.com/projects/370152296/racingcube-an-affordable-and-fast-motion-platform?ref=category_location

Hi i am i big fan of flight sims and games like Elite Dangerous. .Could possibly make a video of the racingcube playing a flight please. cheers
+TheNo1prodigy Definitely! I have played Elite: Dangerous on it and it's quite fun At the moment we're developing mounts for flight sims.
Please integrate a fan & water sprayer to simulate wind & water splashes
please please take my money im 100% dead serious
Let the project live
show us what happened when drifting / sliding?

+Picklock You can configure the movement just as you like. we're just tampering with it to see what works best (-:

simply amazing !!
awesome
I wonder, can you approximate when you're able to sell?
I’m stuck between this and the simxperience. The rotating motion is that traction loss or just when the car turns corners?
How much do I have to pay to have this at home? 😅
looks good tho 👍
Cogratulations
are u able to mount servo type wheels on it, cause if thats the case i'll buy it !
That poor bloke looks scared to death ! Great set up though.
I want to buy. What the contact? I'm form Brazil.
扇風機で風もコントロール出来たら、もっとリアルかも知れませんね!
Helo, It's possible buy only software, Platform and mechanism, Do myself?
+Murilo Parra Yes, You can see all available options in the Kickstarter link in the description on the video. All packages comes with software which supports the listed games on out website.
wie viel kostet das?
Muito bom. Brasil
I wish he could drive!!!
cool
you guys need a better test driver.
Would you share the project with us? this project really does not have a correct name.. You need give a name for it.
GOOD I LIKE IT

All that realism and still doesn't use a clutch and shifter.....
F1 cars only use a clutch to shift from N to 1st
He wasn't driving a formula. :) Just saying for all that detail he's driving an automatic or paddle shifter on a street car.
+Subparanon We're still developing mounts for different gear.

***** Exactly! As mentioned in an other post, we're developing mounts for various products, including flight simulator equipment.
this guy is what 40 kilos? this thing breaks if i seat on it.

Mad Marty a F1 cars G forces are nothing like a regular car.
That's my point, all these settings can be adjusted.
Sorry but your YAW/Traction loss is Completely Wrong..... I would have kept this on the HD to be honest.
+Nick Moxley Settings isn't final yet, we're still tweaking the simulator.
FaseTech
Lol don't listen to him he's a seat mover guy. 😁
Kickstarter failed, now he's off with your money suckers, lol!
Wildan
Guess again, it's a product now. Loser.
@@Gorilla_Jones link?!?!
its hard to watch someone that bad at driving 😂
