  • In this video I review a rare 1985 Sage Green Notchback Mustang. Originally a 4 cylinder automatic, this car has recently had a Gen2 Coyote Swap with Tremec TKO 600 transmission, McLeod Pro Street clutch, BBK Long Tube Headers, Custom X-Pipe with a Foxbody American Thunder Flowmaster Cat-Back Exhaust.

Odd colors like this that were once not very desirable are now very desirable for many reasons. I think in the future the most valuable fox bodies will be the rare color combos like this. You can't go wrong with a coyote swap either, just perfect. The only thing i would do if it were my car is install matching tan halo headrests on the seats, maybe a pair of a saleen with the netting, that would finish her off.

A blast from the past, I was a kid of 20, when this was new, the Notchback trunk style, the Mustang GT's and the Capri RS's were eating vets and Iroc for lunch all day long where I grew up.

That's a cool car. It is crazy that in the 90s I wouldn't have given that mustang a second look because it wasn't a GT or Cobra, but now I'm watching this video thinking man I would love to have that car.

This car would be an epic candidate for having the original wheels face cut off and having modern sized barrels put on. I would look so good and give the outside a bit more of a match to the motor swap.
