I think and feel this was the most atmospheric game I've been at. For whatever reason you could feel both the electricity in the air - it was just static and continually ripples and waves the entire match washing over one and imbibing the body. It was like both a dream and a constant reality that history or time had already passed. Even when PNE scored that somewhat badly defended goal I had absolutely no doubt about the outcome. Not just no doubt but totally relaxed. Very odd. And, all the goals we scored were top class and the chances, they missed were very unusual.
In 45 years following the millers the electricity in the air was coursing freely. Its really true. The energy changed the while game. It was literally crackling. I don't know why, but it was tangable the whole night. Facinating
And look now. PNE went up right after and stayed there, thryre now knocking on the doors of the play offs, and it is still in their own hands, and Rotherham are, well. In the not nice place. See you at Deepdale. That's where you're gonna learn what an atmosphere is, a 136 year old one.
