Birth control stopped my periods for a few months but it got to the point where I started bleeding for weeks at a time. My GYNO then put me on Visanne and it has stopped my periods completely, but i still get bad pains once in a while.

Oi Andrea, obrigada pelo comentário. Olha, pra ser bem sincera, não lembro se a médica mandou eu fazer ou não. Mas quando deu 6 meses acabou meu estoque, daí aproveitei e fiz uma pequena pausa por conta. Já voltei a tomar de novo, e está tudo certo. Você faz intervalo a cada 6 meses? Por indicação médica?
Sim, o medico indicou. E também faço ultrassom a cada 6 meses ( Essa ultrassom tem um preparo com laxante, para melhor visibilidade). Agora vou começar outro tratamento com relação a alimentação.
Em 2014 que fui diagnostica com endometriose, fiz uma cirurgia de emergência, tiveram que retirar um ovário e uma trompa.

I suffer migraines. Will this increase headaches migraines? what about nausea? I suffer lower back pains with endo will it get worse? any hair loss? weight gain? I refuse to take it if this will make me sicker. I already have problems functioning.
The side effects vary from person to person.
I advise you try it for two months at least.

É verdade, fiz o uso dele por 3 ciclos e os sintomas foram exatamente esses, ao fazer outra ressonância não foi detectado focos da endometriose então minha médica me liberou pra tentar engravidar, já que a minha endometriose é leve, no meu canal vou postar no fim desse mês como foi meu primeiro mês sem a medicação, confiram lá 😉

The problem with endometriosis is that it is like a self created obstruction kind of blood clots due to over excess oestrogen. Suggest you take supplements everyday to control the oestrogen levels. Like this they will no longer build up in your tubes
Eu tomei logo o pós cirúrgico por 3 meses, daí começou o sangramento persistente por mais de 2 meses constantemente junto com cólicas e muitas dores nas pernas. Então meu médico decidiu interromper e voltar ao anticoncepcional. A parte da TPM era o pior pra mim. Alterou muito meu humor, TERRÍVEL. Mas ele serviu para o fim, se haviam focos depois da cirurgia, eles sumiram.
Que legal que sumiram seus focos, Janielle. Também passei por cirurgia. Hoje em dia não tenho idéia de como estou "por dentro". :)
I am taking this medicine from last 20 days. And i am facing bleeding after 5-6days taking this medicine. I am also feeling a bit cramps and abdominal pain. Is it normal? Will the bleeding get stopped after some days?? Please anyone help me with their experience
From what I hear, it happens a lot. You should take vitamins and minerals to make up for the vitamins deficiency during the bleeding.
I've read that it causes melasma on face. It's true?
Hey! It did for me. My symptoms only started after about 6 months of using this medication, and I wouldn't use it anymore. Ive been medication free for years, now. In fact, I'm going to delete this video because it doesn't represent my thought and opinions on the matter at all anymore. I'm all about treating it naturally when possible (and most of the time, it is). I have another channel where I talk about my journey after using Visanne but it's all in Portuguese. You can try activating the subtitles if you want, though. The channel is called "Vivendo com Saude". Ill give you a few days to read this comment and after I'll delete this video! But I have a lot of other issues due to endo that nobody is addressing , maybe bc you didn't have these issues ....but if you, or anyone else taking visanne had these issues ....PLEEEEASE HELP. ......Aside from the obvious horrible craps and very heavy bleeding.....I HAVE SEVERE HIP, AND PELVIS, AND LOWER BACK PAIN because of my endo.....I just started taking visanne 3 days ago.....my question is DOES VISANNE MAKE THAT DAILY HELL OF HIP PAIN EVERY DAY GET BETTER??? .....also I have severe bloating....does visanne help that!?!?*
Hi, I'm so sorry you're feeling so bad. I used to have bad lower back pain too, and the "cramps" (they were way worse than just cramps) would spread to my legs, too. I don't think I ever had hip pain because of the endo, have you told your doctor that?
About the Visanne... I actually had to stop taking it because I was having too many side effects. Gained weight, acne was coming back, was depressed and with NO energy. I was miserable. So I decided to start treating my endo with my diet, and stoped taking Visanne. I cut gluten, all animal products, caffeine, refined sugar... that's been three months now, and I never felt better. I started having periods again (didn't have them for years because I used to take medication non stop), and they are nothing like before. Way lighter, less lengthy, I have virtually NO cramps, my boobs are the normal size again, and I don't feel bloated anymore. I also lost 5 kilos in a little less than 3 months. I feel wonderful... I wouldn't recommend taking medication anymore, but treating naturally. There's so much power in nature. Ah, and no, I don't think that Visanne will help you with bloating. You're probably feeling bloated because of all the inflammation inside your body, and you can only change that by eating things that help alleviate this inflammation. I to have severe hip back pelvis and leg pain that gets worse around and during my period. I’ve put on the medication for two weeks now. I’ve noticed my lower body pain becoming increasingly worse and I’m beyond exhausted. I’ve also been bleeding nonstop. I’ve been told that this is normal and you should give it three months. I’ve watched a lot of the videos too and it does seem like things get better.
No sugar, no gluten, many green leaves (raw if possible) daily fruit intake (papaya is the best of all for bloating, you may add mint and Greek yogurt to it)
Plenty of water (warm if possible) and tea!!
I agree with A longa jornada . The side effects are many.
I took Visanne for two months after my laparoscopy, paused for a month and took it for two months again. Then I stopped.
I started the endo diet (cut down on sugar, gluten, added more greens and fruits to my diet, daily intake of anti inflammatory tea (tumeric, ginger, black pepper and lemon from time to time), yoga (there are specific poses for endometriosis), walk a lot (I know how bad the pain can be on some days, but try walking the days you feel a little better)
The diet helped me a lot!!
However, I got negligent after some months, I started eating out etc..it's hard to maintain the diet, specially since I leave in my parents house.
So, some 10months after my surgery I started having cramps again, cramps when I was not on my period, and pain that would go down to my legs.
Here I am now, taking Visanne again. I will take it for two months so the endo tissues shrink and be more serious about my diet!!
Keep faith and ask your doctor whether you need laparoscopy, maybe your endo has gotten to an advanced stage.
Visanne will help you
