Early commenters definitely feel like pettiness more than actual critique. I wouldn’t say this battle pass is phenomenal, but I still think it’s pretty good and a very standard level. Definitely not bad by any means, there are several items that I either thought were fun or neat. Not to mention, there isn’t a single game with a “pass” system that doesn’t have ones that fall short compared to others. It’s just not a rational expectation by any means. I still love Rocket League even though most of their Rocket passes actually are disappointing, but then they’ll have some fire ones too. If you judge the whole game by the new cosmetics in the pass this hard, you just don’t ever have fun period.
Also I remember not so long ago two different guys on reddit begged for something with wrestling and baseball theme, like "Embark please thats obvious!". Well their dreams suddenly came true:D

Some people just have opinions though. I for one agree that this pass is great and that individual items can add a lot to preexisting skins people have.
I’m glad they made it easier to lvl up the battlepass. Took a break early this season at around lvl 23 and came back to finish the bp pass in around 7 hrs with the 2x xp. Working on the extra tiers rn is such a grind but I understand 😭
Previous seasons had better awards but these are not bad either. There are a couple of gems in there! The only thing I wonder about is why there are so many skins for pike-556 in this pass.

i mean they're all amazing skins, but im not feeling a theme here. Baseball? Ospuze? I liked the season 3 BP because it had a bunch of new sponsors centered around a unified theme. There's only 2 here and Ospuze takes more than half of the BP.
